I'm with you that another basic doll isn't needed. I would rather have more t shirts to decorate and an apron with real pockets for the shop owner doll we all already have. Maybe some more accessories like little scissors, paint bottles, etc. And they could have refill packs for different themes like holidays or summer camp.

Putting the decals on the clothes is quite accurate to how it's done in reality.
The decal needs to be carefully smoothed out to remove any air bubbles.

I'm actually kind of surprised Barbie made such a creative play set. I know you can buy a huge variety of the transfer foils. I've seen Nerdecrafter do projects and she had a bunch of different colors and glitter ones. I just don't know where you'd be able to buy the stickers themselves. But it would be so cute to be able to make your own patterns for clothes. I do agree about the doll they put in most of the sets. I would happily still pay the same price for higher quality clothes. The uniform is still cute, I'd just rather see something other then screen printed fabric.

If Mattel isn't planning on packaging refill kits, then you ought to be able to pick up bits and bobs to create your own from the kids' craft section of shops like Hobby Lobby. EBay vendors sell packs of Barbie accessories, too.

I wish I could get just the piece that holds the shirts. With stencils and fabric paint you could put your own designs on doll clothes and that part looks perfect for keeping them straight and un wrinkled. Maybe I can figure out how to make something like it 🤔

Would’ve been cooler if this set had something like a rubbery stamp that you dip into glue, press on clothes/bags and then apply glittery paper on top, that would stick to the glue.
Those stickers are nice but they are limited. And as i understand you can’t buy refills anywhere.

If this works like nail transfer sheets, I'd say not. It would make the metallic finish crackle and go cloudy, at least with nail polish. Mod Podge MIGHT work, since it's water based, but I'd definitely test it on a sticker you don't care about first.
