- Finally, hover tests are over and I started doing transitions to horizontal flights. Luckily drone is flying perfectly well. It is very unusual to control - nothing like an airplane. I will cover it in later videos, stay tuned!

Perfect! Now we just need to convince everyone that laying on their back for takeoffs is totally cool!
Laying on the back is very comfortable! Why wouldn't anyone lay on their back if they could?! But if people don't like it there are ways around it, like a tilting seat ;)
And I just love this sound of rotating propellers 😊
The drone propellers or the helicopter propellers? 😀
@@eugeneforshter nice small props of a nice versatile Box, capable of vertical takeoff and supporting it's weight by generating lift in horizonal flight😊. Helicopters can only dream about such efficiency
Congratulations! So important step in your design effort! Could you show the transition from quadcopter to airplane mode?
I wish I could! I didn't have a cameraman with me to film the transition from the ground and I accidentally deleted an on board camera video of transition... But I will definitely film it again and post it.
