The story of the song is about the now cancelled sequel to Doki Doki Literature Club (also known as Project Libitina) and how our protagonists will have to team up with Monika to take down the new threat, and make things better.

I wouldn’t keep up hope for Project Libitina being a very happy game. If you watched Game Theory’s videos on it, it is an entire different universe, and the only similarity is what is within the character files. Besides that, it has nothing to do with the story of DDLC whatsoever, and even though Monika, or the character she becomes, says, “It’s time to be a hero!” the running theory is still that Project Libitina will be a VERY dark game, with a similar story to the Portrait of Markov.

I’m so upset at how underrated this is. The visuals, and vocals are great, but I think what really makes this one stand out to me are the lyrics. It’s clear you did your research on the mysteries outside of the base game, notably things relating to Project Libitina, and I REALLY appreciate that. 10/10, excellent work

Guys, you have been misinformed, nobody really knows what’s happening with the sequel.
Goofy Goober As far as I know, Team Salvato just kinda stayed quite about it. I don’t know what happened back in 2018, but I know it wasn’t cancelled and it is more than likely coming later this year. Also, many people seem to make the mistake of believing Project Libitina is a sequel. Game Theory debunked it being a sequel years ago, and even Dan said in his tweet that the new game (supposedly Project Libitina) isn’t a sequel.

I don't think they did, I think they both postponed it and are very quiet about it
I like that Dolvondo knows what needs to be done and his voice shoes that he fears what might happen, while nenorama has a Courageous voice that shows his determination to save them. Both of their voices combined give me goose bumps.

Whole 2 years....that's a lot of work and to be honest it made this song something amazing. I can legit imagine that it's what Monika,MC and The Player would think if they had to work together and try to fix stuff. It's also first Project Libitina song I saw and it fits very well.
My favorite parts are Monika words because you can feel all emotion.
It shows how tired and really broken she is of being alone. The same with the Player and MC and that it's time to save everyone and even Monika because she deserves to be forgiven.
It's a perfect DDLC song and for sure I will listen to it a lot now.

This is about the 15......17.....24...I don't know how much but it's alot, because of how good it is!!!
The mc should just clone himself four times over so that every doki could have him.
This song is very connecting but some lyrics should change because while trying to animate this I had to miss out 10% of the actual lyrics just so the animation made sense, for example I had to edit the song just so the scene didn't have random lyrics on top. It's a private animation but if had to publish it I would be really proud of not only the effort I put into it, but the song itself. I mean it just made my cry (Not KIDDING). Keep up the great work because I've been thinking about making this song into animation for 3 months when it came out because it was just that good!
