Freya, I lived in Sedona for many years and there were many practitioners there trying to live up to these expectations. There is a term we use called "exotification." People want the fairy tale, because it brings hope. If you are just human, how can you live up to this ideal? Sometimes the reality is not pretty, mysterious or exotic.But as creators/practitioners we can support each other.
I think that a lot of people fail to understand that connecting with spirit and deity should start with mundane tasks that are done everyday. Witchcraft for me is not about a time set apart in my life to perform rituals so much as a way of connecting with nature and the elements and to see myself and become part of that. That is not to say rituals aren’t part of my craft because they are. I agree with the fact that a lot of people don’t see the mundane as magical but for me it’s a frame of mind. We can either see everything as magical in life or just random occurrences every now and again. I choose to see everything in nature as magical and do my best to be a part and connect with that. I appreciate your videos immensely . Thank you for being your authentic, magical self and allowing us to see a small window into your life!❤️🍄

I'm so happy to see/hear others speak of the practitioners day to day lives as well as their ritualistic ways. We are all human beings. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, we will always be humans, and understanding the ways of the ancestors definitely includes their daily lives as well. Not only their celebration, veneration, and offerings. It's the day to day part I feel that truly makes our practices, rituals, and offerings original, personal, and true. I love knowing that you are an amazing dog and reindeer mom. I laughed and cried with you when the reindeer went back to the mountain.
