I herd this song through my pregancay I cried every night because my husband got arrested when I was about 6 months pregnant. God protected my baby through my pregancay and now she will be 3 months tomorrow, God is good all the time

When I lost my dad 8 months ago I was so lost I felt like I died too. All I did was cry for my dad for months then god sent one of his children to befriend me and get me in church. Thank you so much Lord I love my church and all my new friends I have met, and some old friends that came back to me. It's really sad that I'm not that sad anymore over my dad

I cried during this song, I was at a christian camp, the speaker spoke a very powerful message, and it got everyone in a spiritual mood, and the band played a bunch of songs, but this song hit me, I looked to my right, one of the dirtiest kids who has sex with over aged women, drinking, and drug problems, talking to one of the counselors about being baptized and forgiven, I broke down, it's amazing to see what god can do
The Spirit touches my soul ever time I hear this song. In Hebrew, the word for spirit is Ruach. This word has a deeper meaning than just 'spirit'. It can also mean breath or wind. So 'Ruach YHWH' (the Spirit of YAHWEH, the Holy Spirit) has a deep and intimate meaning. It makes me think, when we're in those times when we need the Lord the most, and we call for His help in those moments, GOD comes near unto us with His Spirit, so close it's as though He's standing next to us, like we can feel His breath on us. Almost makes me cry when I think of it. He could do anything He wants, and He chooses to sit with us when we're alone to comfort us even after we sinned against Him. He could do anything, and He chose the cross.

i believe certain songs are made for certain people. this song is made for those who are completely broken. those who are at rock bottom, consumed by sin, or as far away from God as one can possibly be. this song is made for someone who is on there knees, thinking it can’t be any worse. that this is rock bottom, and that there’s no more to life than this. and then, when they look up, they see jesus standing there, holding out his hand. they hear him calling to them. and then they get up and run to him, forever changed, forever saved. that person was me. and now i’ll bear my cross as i wait for the crown. i’ll tell the world of the treasure i found. thank you Jesus

Peter Willis - That means if you have seen how Jesus acts or behaves, then you know how God the Father in Heaven is. They are one and the same, including the Holy Spirit (the Divine Trinity), yet still separate beings. It's a great mystery no one can ever understand at least not until we get to Heaven!
I am very sorry you have never known your father, but in a way, since you have your mum and she had you with him, you are him in many ways! So if your mum ever says, "You remind me of your father", then stop and realize that you can then recognise your father at that moment!
Also, our great Father God in Heaven truly is available for each and every one of us to go to and have a relationship with! You can call on Him as Abba, Father. Tell Him what a good Father He is and thank Him daily for He has given us all good things! Truly!

I grew up with a shadow, a shadow that haunted my household and haunted my life. Sexual abuse between siblings is something that isn’t shown in the light very often, usually its an uncle or a cousin that we think of or hear about, at least in my experience. But when my brother broke the news to me, as a child, 9-10 years old, that leaves an impression on me. Especially as I looked up to my oldest brother, and that impression carried on to my teenage years. 13-14 years old I repeated these things with family members and I’m not proud of it. I don’t know why I’m putting this out there at 21 years old, but I am. I don’t accept it, I don’t forgive myself, I don’t forgive my oldest brother, I am still haunted by those words that came out of my brother’s mouth. And the memories still live in vivid imagery in the back of my mind... I’m reminded of it as I walk, as I eat, as I talk to others, it lives with me... I’m sorry to my victim, I love you, and this isn’t how life is meant to be lived, in secret, it isn’t right. I see the effects in the life of my brother everyday and I hate it that he grew up in confusion so regularly. Like what happened was common, eventually I started to pick up on his behavior. Today, I’m letting it go. RUclips is my place to go when I need a little peace, clarity, the music always gives me a reason. Through God’s annointing on these peoples lives, to make the music they do, to impact the lives of people like me. This is my altar, and I’m laying it down.

Seeing all these hurts that people share, and knowing that our lord god forgives every single sin we’ve committed. For god, to give you something that you shouldn’t deserve. Forgiveness really does come with the precious blood of jesus christ.
Really feeling the spirit of the Lord this morning. I am so eternally grateful that the Lord never gave up on me. He had bigger and better plans for my life. He keep true to his promise He left the 99 to find me. He picked me up at my most darkest place in life and restored me to the person that I am today. Of course my life is not perfect but I know now that with him all things are possible I am no longer scared of the unknown I no longer self sabotage myself thinking that I am going to fail anyways so why try. I want to share with the world my experience with the Lord and shout from the rooftops that the Lord is SO SO GOOD!! all you have to do is make him the center of your world and he will bless you with a life and world beyond your wildest dreams.

The first time I heard this song was at a magical, wonderful place called Camp Glisson. It was so beautiful I was in tears when I heard it. Especially on the last day. I don’t know, just the song and everyone singing it in the church it was so relaxing and magical.

Like others, I too lost my dad. I remember how broken I was for so long and I didn’t know how it felt to be happy anymore. Then I went on a retreat for my church and we did this healing rock Ceremony. I just kept crying along side my friends during the whole thing. Then I felt it, the love of our father. Since then I have been close to god, enjoying going to church and feeling happy again after years of depression and I have Jesus to thank for it.
