The last episode really wrecked me. The scene where Executive Zhang, shot himself while holding the beads. And that when he said to Jiang gege, that they both lost. Yes, I'm crying.
What a tragic and sad relationship they had, love this couple though, when Yu Tang Chun died he was dearly missed by Zhan Jun Bai until the day he shot himself he holds the beads of Yu Tang Chun.
Honestly this is so saddd😭😭😭 but honestly I can’t be the only one who sees some similarities between the sad twisted relationship Zhan Junbai and Boss Yu and Xue Yang’s and Xiao Xingchen’s relationship from The Untamed Both Xiao Xingchen and Boss Yu were kind ,just and beautiful human beings who ended saving the life of a person who unbeknownst to them was their greatest enemy showing them kindness,love and compassion. They both were also unknowingly manipulated and greatly suffered . They both also ended up taking their own lives in front of the person who betrayed they now hated most as a result of their actions Both Xue Yang and Zhan Junbai are both cruel,evil and psychotic sociopaths who legit don’t know the true meaning of love or trust or even someone caring for them until Xiao Xingchen and Boss Yu came into the picture . Both of them didn’t know what the emotions they were feeling inside because they didn’t understand love so they ended up the hurting the person they loved so dearly because since they didn’t know how to express themselves and were hurting and cruelly manipulating them instead. They both didn’t realize how much the other person meant to them until that person was ripped away from them by death and only then did they realize their feelings and terrible longing for that person but only realized it when it was too late. These two also both died/or rather gladly accepting death holding something that was given to them/belonged to the only person they truly ever loved and who died as a result of their cruelty . Sad similarities really 😭
@Kiyara Dunuwillie Great analysis. But I think they were both attracted to each other on sight and knew their own feelings very well. Yu’s started to waver when he saw the watch. During the time he thought Third Uncle Zhan did the deed, he reciprocated the feelings that were clearly coming from JunBai except he felt some guilt he was using him to wreak vengeance on Third Uncle. It is only when Yu knew it was JunBai his feeling went from emotional attraction and sexual interest to full hate. These two are such interesting characters because, like the main leads, they were equally matched. They could both be clever, evil geniuses, though for a different cause. Yu even engendered that whole thing in the tailor’s shop and took what was meant for JunBai in order to prove his allegiance to him and gain his trust. Yu is the only one to have pulled one over on JunBai in that entire series. If only it would’ve transpired that Uncle was the one who pulled the trigger, even if JunBai was also at the scene somewhere, I could see him begging Yu’s forgiveness, the two of them dealing with Third Uncle and then live happily ever after. But alas it was not to be. This whole underrated series was a brilliant morality play and one of the best most complex and layered BLs ever.
@@Supermodel2020 Ah! They showed it in a flashback near the end. Yu manoeuvred to get hurt in the process of saving a life - “no one has ever taken a knife for me”. That made JunBai’s feelings for him even more intense. Yu’s moving in with JunBai after his “accident” was something they both actively wanted 😄
Beautiful sadness.. Both consumed by love and hate. Both had a chance to kill each other, but rather kill themselves. Zhan Jun Bai saying the he lost and holding on to the beads until the end of his life made me cry. Tragic yet beautiful love story.
