I’ve given two and a half hours to this audiobook. It’s well narrated (best feature so far), superficially likable with promising characters but dated, slow, very predictable, legally questionable and emotionally quite flat. I’m not captured yet keep waiting patiently for something, anything at all to ignite my excitement. It’s…. competent. As if the skills are present but coasting in neutral and slowing to a near stop. It’s such a familiar story that I’m either going to be quickly amazed at such a great recovery or I’ll put it down for good.
"dated" as a notable criticism? Haha. If that's some kind of marker then you have not read the most outstanding and noteworthy writers throughout the history of the written word. Huge loss to any serious reader of literature, much less simple current fiction for light entertainment of the masses including the many who only read 1 book a year on summer vacation.
The Prosecution doesn't have a murder weapon. This is a major plot failing. The prosecutor only uses an emotional argument and circumstancal "evidence."
I just started the book, but I think that the narrator is absolutely fabulous. He is capturing the personality of the book perfectly.
😅
Yes, top of the line narrator. A phone book would become captivating with this fellow narrating.
An exciting story, excellent narration and sound quality. Thank you.
Part 2 has been uploaded! Thanks😁
Where did u find part 2
Looking for part 2
James Patterson is my favorite author and he hit the books again
The NARRATOR made this "audio" the success it is.
When he did the "DEEP SOUTH" bit... totally lived it....!!!

Down for good.

@@bushal1 Ha ha ha! It really depressed me. (And I'm a lawyer.)

@@doreekaplan2589 How embarrassingly patronising. And great literature does not date. You clearly do not know what the word means.
JP's done it again you go boy
No sense bothering with this if there is no part 2.
Who killed Carrie Ann?

Where's part 2?
Where can i find part 2
👍
The book is entertaining snd the narration excellent but the constant interruption of so many ads makes it impossible to keep listening.
Brown Deborah White John Clark Cynthia
This is a great book but so many ads 🙄
Too many ads! The story isn't worth suffering through all the ads.
The ads are from RUclips, not the channel
RUclips Premium has no ads
@WhyPentecostal have you never uploaded a video to RUclips before? It is absolutely the channel that sets the parameters for the ads.
Kevin Stillwell, narrator.
I love this guy's narration!
Depressing story. Not for me
🙂
Far too many ads. Pass on this one!!!!
Ridiculous amount of adds.
Good reading; awful book.
To many ads🤮
Sorry but can't enjoy this narration.
Why apologize?
I've enjoyed this book and look forward to listening to part two. I especially like jury/lawyer books
I'm so glad I found this book.
