I left Hawaii in 1994. The lingo has definitely changed with the new generation. Da kine.
Went to Hawaii few years ago. Beautiful place, for sure enjoyed Hilo more than Maui. Also loved the fresh springs over the ocean as well. Locals didn’t care too much for tourists but did meet some chill people around my age who were kind sharing some beers and clams. Lastly, some strange ferret like creatures raid the trashes as well.
