honestly I always mind charge against golden hands and they never escape 99% of the time unless you attack them or get downed somehow (they mostly try to inflict status alignments)

If you strike them first, they will probably escape in next turn. First cast masukunda, cast masukukaja, charge, and then megidolaon in one strike to kill them all at once.
The worst is when they dodge the Megidoloan. I have legit buffed my hit and evasion with yosuke, the used Megidoloan with a mind charged Naoto and half of the fuckers dodged it
Really wish they added a move that made escaping impossible after being casted, sure it would be a wasted slot on 90% of fights but boy would that 10% be so worth it...

@@TimothyGodno. The Pros use Both Megidolaon Straight Away from Naoto and Protagonist to kill them. The Experienced using Mind Charge first and let some of them Escape, while the Noobs Attack straight away, but wasn't able to kill them.

This is why I just finished grinding in Naoto’s dungeon. You can get four or five who are slower than you at that point pretty consistently so you can just megidoloan them twice before they get a chance to move.
@@valence7 She has a move called Black Spot which gets easy criticals, allowing you to knock the hands down and take them out more easily. You can also raise your crit rate to make criticals practically confirmed. Just be sure to pair her with a solid healer, since the move will eat through her HP like mad.
Golden hands are so fucking annoying that sometimes I wonder if I should even bother battling in the first place. I do wish they’d have a more exploitable weakness, but at the same time I’d take them any day over P5’s watered down treasure demons.
I actually just got this encounter this morning and managed to one shot all 5 of them. I got a little over 62,000 money and experience and went from lvl 84 to 87 immediately. It was glorious. I was even wearing the armor that raises XP gain by 50%
Personally I wouldn’t risk it for mind charge (because five golden hands is pretty rare) I’d just go straight for megidolaon with both my persona and Naoto
N1. Slaps you runs away N2. Just escapes N3. Also just escapes N4. Slaps you you get stunned and runs away N5. Stays and actually dies maybe sike has 1hp left escapes
I hate these things, it wouldn't be so bad but they drop something that is essential for a quest you need 8 of them, and if that's not made more annoying by them running away if you do topple them there's a great chance they won't drop any
+ one small tip as you see the golden hand well try to run immediately so always spam megidolaon immediately when it's your turn and because naoto with you it should be enough to kill them in the first turn
Lol pratically how I handle them everytime If you do not have the advantage do not waste too much time on Charges, just raise your evasion (or low theirs, either with Kanji or Yosuke) and rack up almighty damage as soon as possible Their AI will Run away if you do not do nothing to them for too long This however is not a problem when you are the one who starts first, in that case try to finish all in one session of turns, focus, raise attack, low defense, but alwayse raise or low agility In Late Game you can try for Crits using revolution amd Apt Pupil
Golden hands are way to broken, they are super annoying to defeat, and if you dont defeat them, you will be underleveled. But honestly, BEING UNDERLEVELED IS BETTER THAN HAVING TO DEAL WITH GOLDEN HANDS!!!
This has happened to me and I absolutely despise it when they run away for absolutely no reason. When there's just a few of them, they run away when they get a crit, have low HP, or too many turns have passed, and they give an indicator they're about to run away before they do. But when there's a lot of them, just run away turn 1 or turn 2 with zero indication.

Reminds me of the time when I defeated 3 Golden Hands, then got a shuffle time which forced me to select a card which reduced the exp I gained to 0. 😔

I managed to killed 3 of them and the other 2 escaped but at least I got 99,999 exp and 50,000 yen
i enabled the more money and exp in the difficulty settings
