I applied to few universities and one of them offered me scholarship. GRE, ielts/toefl, .... these are the general requirements. Staying in usa is only easy for few people who get job very easily right after they graduate and who get green card quick.

I would say it plays a critical role, but there are a lot of universities that do not care about it at all.

I would not say its not possible, but you are less likely to get good offers right now if you apply for fall 2024.

Hello brother. Insightful video as always. You said I can build a good profile and apply for a University and based on my profile, the department will either give me TA or not. What qualifies as a good profile? What if I get accepted but not get TA for that semester? Does it mean I will have to pay in full for rest of the program?
1. Good gpa, good gre, ielts/toefl score, relevant work experience qualifies as a good profile.
2. If you get accepted and do not get TA then you will have to pay full fees. However, some universities might also offer you partial scholarship, like 50%, 70%.
@@Givealook Do departments give TAs to someone already enrolled in the university? For example if I get good grades and have a good relationship with the professor then will that leverage me to get a TA? Thanks for the reply
