Hi there :) did u ever start out lashing mobile? As in going to people’s home or them coming to you? I am currently doing friends out of my home but realizing I will need to start traveling to them and I want to make sure I have the perfect set up. I have the table, light and tools. Anything else you suggest?
I think the biggest thing to consider is the environment of the homes you’ll be lashing in. The temperature and humidity level is crucial. Purchase a hydrometer and maybe a humidifier so you can have the idea environment for lashing for great retention and results. The glue I’ve used with the broadest range of ideal humidity is J Brand Clear adhesive and I’ve been loving it!
Do you work from home ? And if so can you do a video where you show us your set up. Also can you tell us a little bit of how you promote your self and the first steps you do when your clients gets there as far as a client card or if you make them sign anything etc. Thanks
Hi Gabriela :) I don't work from home because I don't have the space and I have a little one constantly running around, but I do work at a salon & spa where I bring my own equipment and tools. As long as you have a bed, lighting, and a hydrometer so you know the temperature and humidity of your space (for the adhesive) you can really lash anywhere. I work somewhere that gives me great flexibility so I'm able to choose my hours, but it also is great because it helps me reach clients in my area I may not have otherwise. I do have a professional Instagram which differs from my personal which I think is important and I try to use social media as much as possible to promote my work. I do make them sign a waiver and it also allows me to get any info from them on possible allergies and learn how they heard about me. You can find templates online (which is what I did) but I'd add some things to it to make it your own. Also, maybe consider running a special for a short time so you can build clientele. Hope this helped a little!
Hello I just watched your video and subscribed! You seem super knowledgeable about quality protects and practices... Thank you so much for all your tips! I'm a licensed cosmetologist in California and I'm getting borboleta certified in classic lashes on the 10th and 11th of this month! I'm so excited:) thnx again 💗
Borboleta does an amazing job educating their artists & they are all about uplifting one another! It’s an amazing community :) I hope you had a great class experience!
Hey doll. I’m a cosmetologist and I just signed up for the Barboleta training in Houston next month, my question is should I get the Basic Kit or the Pro Kit? Is the kit worth it and if you could do it all over again would you buy a different kit?
Congratulations, you will absolutely love their training and leave so inspired! I’ve been through Classic & Advanced training now. The first time I got the basic and ended up wanting more product. This most recent training I did get the pro and thought it was good value. You truly will use everything in your kit and they set you up to be able to leave and start lashing :)
I would say how long they last for. Extensions are attached to your natural lash so as it naturally sheds to does the extension. Extensions should last longer than individuals.
Hello, please I need help where can I buy the lashes and what glue is good, I just finished my training but am lost and don’t know where to order my supplies. Thank you so much for this video 💜💜💜
Hey really like your video, I have a few questions if you don't mind?? Where did you get the nano, and the glasses if possible a link sorry I just got my license and feel a lost??
Thanks for watching! I felt the same way initially too so your aren't alone, but I connected with a lash artist in my area and that also helped me a lot. I got my nano from borboletabeauty.com. I love it & works great at distributing the perfect amount of mist. The glasses were from Amazon, but upon Advanced education I learned that too strong of glasses can really damage your eyes overtime so since I have switched to readers. I use 1.25.
Thank you so much for replying back, one more question is there anything that you do before lashing to prep the lashes and also any good primer that you recommend and helpful steps before lashing your client?
Ideal environments are 40-60% humidity and 69-72 F for temperature but also look at your adhesive. It should tell you the ideal conditions for it to work it’s best.
Was a great try but you talk to to much and don’t say almost anything, take a deep breath and thinking about what it’s real important to said. Please stop to do that, next time at least say where we can get the glasses or Eyelashes or any information because everyone was lost.
Sasha Leyva Some states require you to have a cosmetology and or esthetician license before doing work on clients. If your state requires that, and you are doing treatments you can be stripped of ever obtaining those licenses. It’s important to just double check within the state you live in.
Hello! Can you please provide me with the link for the glasses you use?
Thanks a bunch!
Jessica Angel yes please
I just started working at amazing lash studio but I want too slowly move into doing a booth rental so these videos really help
Where can I get those glasses
Why would I need another certification when I'm a licensed Esthetician already and that already includes eyelashes
Hey girl!!! Any chance you can list more of the items in your description! :)

Can you provide information on the magnifying glasses you use?
Ramneek K yes please
Can you please give me some suggestions about what templates I can find online for clients to fill out? Thank you
I love that they only allow licensed individuals. I took a local course by a local artist and it wasn't great. I'm taking their course soon.

What is the difference between individuals vs extension

Hi. Great video! Can u take a close up pic of the home depot tiles u use and how u place ur products on them?? Thx
I agree!
Hi! love this video!!! I would like to know what eyepatches are you using? thanks!!!
My favorite are from Borboleta because they are small & seem to fit a lot of different eye shapes well. They also don’t shift around.
Brittany Morris thanks!!!! I’ll buy them. 😊

I’ve had great experience with the brands J Brand, Borboleta, & Sinful Lashes. All are made in the USA and produce beautiful results!
Bella Lash is good product too
Did you ever try glad lash?
Can you do more lash videos please
Do I have a video on where u store all ur lashes
You DO NOT need ur cosmetology or esthetician’s license to do lashes in California. U can work under someone with a license.
FranSing Montaño what happens if ur not working under someone with a license? U get fined?
You never made the tweezers video ☹️
Thank you this was so helpful❤️

I don’t really like using a primer. I just have the client wash their lashes before we start their appointment.
What temperature and humidity level do you like you room to be for lashing?
Ideal environments are 40-60% humidity and 69-72 F for temperature but also look at your adhesive. It should tell you the ideal conditions for it to work it’s best.
Hi Brittany, I just found you and I am enjoying your videos. Are you also an esthetician?
Thanks for the love! Yes I got my license in 2017 through an Aveda program.
What are the Facebook groups again

you don't need any type of cosmetology license to do lashes, if anything you should take a sanitary course.

Certain states require it and MI is one of those states
Sasha Leyva In certain states you do need a cosmetology license or aesthetician license, some u only need if you wanna work in a salon.
