Following a 24-hour livestream on Twitch, Bethesda Softworks unveiled the next game set in the Fallout universe. It’s called Fallout 76, which refers to the vault where it takes place.
The teaser trailer, embedded above, includes scenes set inside a relatively well-maintained fallout shelter. The vault looks decked out for a party, with balloons and confetti all over. A sign says that the occasion is called “Reclamation Day.” A Pip-Boy makes an appearance during the teaser, but there’s a conspicuous lack of weapons of any kind. The entire setting looks extremely domestic, set inside a child’s bedroom and a family living space.
The only character shown on screen is a single vault dweller, donning a blue Vault 76 suit and wearing a Pip-Boy with a date that reads Oct. 27, 2102. A broadcast in the trailer features an official saying, “When the fighting has stopped and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild.”

As far as covers goes this is pretty good. Original is the best though.
I love the trailer version for the extra chord change they put in at the end of the chorus. Sounds more bittersweet.

Honestly what struck me most was how much emotion that trailer managed to evoke. Idk why but just that beginning, the black and white and solemn music with a lone soldier overlooking the nukes made me so sad and this isn't even the official "reveal".

This is just fucking awesome that this takes place in my West Virginia and in Virginia because the area around Virginia is where I live so I'm just hyped up man!!!

I think it will take place around the border where It boarders Pennsylvania , Virginia ,West Virginia, and Maryland bc the map is supposed to be 4x bigger than fallout 4s map

If anyone wants to know who sung the full cover, it's "Greg Priester" he has a 28k Sub YT account. He did 3 different covers of it. Btw Bethesda confirmed they are going to release the full song and donate the proceeds to something John Denver did. Idk the rest but I'm so excited! Omg. Hopefully this info helped those who wanted to know the actual artist.

I've stated this elsewhere but I'm thinking this was sung by John Amos (JJ's father from Good Times). He did a Country Album a few years ago and coincidentally one of the Nuclear Plants in the area is The John Amos Nuclear Power Plant. It wouldn't strike me as odd if the musical director was inspired by it. The timber and cadences are strikingly similar.
