Yay! I’m so glad! I designed my recipes to be enjoyed by the whole family because it’s super annoying to have to cook separate meals for people. Also, this way everyone gets to enjoy delicious food that is meant to optimize their digestive health.😉
Hi. The crust may need to be "par" or pre-baked . Poke the crust with a fork gently all around. Then 15 min or so. Check on it. The thinner the crust, the quicker it will cook. Happy eating.
Omg yes! Please do! Pizza is my favorite too, and this recipe makes me feel like I can have normal food. When I go to pizza press and other places like that and get gf pizza with olive oil and low FODMAP toppings it still causes me a reaction and the pizza just sucks. So not worth it.
Hello Grits and Groceries!!! New subscriber here! 😀 Thank you so much for the channel I will be trying this pizza recipe. I miss pizza so much.. Celiac and low fodmap... Would it be possible to substitute the vinegar wine with apple cider vinegar? Please let me know! 🤗 Thanks!
Thank you so much for subscribing! I believe everyone needs pizza in their lives - especially people on restrictive diets. I’m so excited for you to try it! The vinegar reacts with the baking soda to give your dough a lighter/airier texture. I haven’t tried using apple cider vinegar for this recipe, but I think it would work.👍🏻
You’re gonna love it!! But I’m sorry, because after this, other gluten free pizzas will taste like absolute garbage. There’s no going back. Lol. I don’t remember what I did in this vid, but I’ve tried it both ways and they both work! I think it’s mostly important how well your body digests fat. If fatty foods tend to give you indigestion you can keep the pan dry. Adding a little butter and garlic oil will add more flavor but it’s not necessary. Again, it’s most important to make a meal that will support your bod and make you feel great! ❤️
@@gritandgroceries haha! Thanks so much for this thorough response. Good points. It’s impressive that it can come out so easily with and without some sort of grease!
I made your pizza recipe today. I am new to the low FODMAP diet. The pizza is delicious. My husband is a picky eater , he is enjoying every bite.

I actually don't think that's necessary since I start the cooking over the flame on the stove, but YOU'RE welcome to make YOUR pizza however you want.
I’m trying this tonight! My husband suffers from IBS, but loves pizza. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thank you for sharing.

won't the psyllium husks cause stomach distress? It's the main ingredient in metamucil...
Thanks for the recipe 😁
how many degrees?

Looks delicious. Can't wait to try this. Did you grease your cast iron pan before putting the dough on it?

Totally!

Honestly, it’s ruined all other gluten free pizza for me - it’s that good.
Yummm!
Thanks, boo.
I’m hungry now!
Perfect. 🤣👌🏻
Isn't garlic high fodmap?
Yup! Check out my garlic oil video - I explain why garlic oil is okay to consume on this diet even though it is high FODMAP.😉
A hot pan like that could burn the heck out of a wooden cutting board.
I let the pan cool on the stove while we re-set the camera, but thanks for being concerned for my cutting board. lol
