    Hello, are EA studios and Ranger EA the same? You have tested several different bots. Which one had the lowest drawdowns and the most aggressive short term trading for profits?

    I've done some very thorough back testing on this EA and it is very good if you take the time to test it. I've put it through 13+ years of back testing and it is a very good robust ea once you have your individual settings dialed in. Then you can trade with confidence on larger accounts.

      Much appreciated, Adam

      @@eaprofiler648 Stock settings can work well with most brokers. I like to test mine over 10+years to be sure. Each pair regularly has small drawdowns and can be as much as 55% each. The EA is very profitable. In live trading I use 1 pair per account.

      @@eaprofiler648 The developer has released V3 and has back tests and settings to show. I really like this EA a lot but people need to understand it's strengths and weaknesses like anything else. I do my own back tests per pair. I found this EA per pair needs lots of room to absorb the larger drawdowns. I use 500:1 leverage. If during a 10+ yr cycle I see drawdowns in the 30-50% range which is normal for ea's then I place each pair on a separate account. Some people like to bundle 2 or 3 pairs together and hope trade it doesn't blow their account during drawdowns. I like to find and test a collection of ea's and have more of a portfolio approach on separate accounts therefore having greater confidence an account won't blow.

      @@eaprofiler648 Also the stock settings and account management are based in USD. For other base currencies AUD you would need to retest pairs to determine drawdown. Or simply reduce risk profile to 0.6 or 0.7 should be about right as audusd floats between $0.60-0.70 Hope my info is helpful.

    Please tell me which bot will build my account the fastest. I want to build 2 accounts. One to save and one to withdraw from. Also, is there anyone that can assist me with my strategy programmed into the bot.

      Hi Thulani, thanks for your message. I think the best system I have used is not actually one EA, but the creator of potentially thousands of EAs. It is called EA Studio and you can see it here: eaprofiler.com/ea-studio/
      At the bottom of the page there is a tutorial video I created for it a few years back. Basically it enables you to create EAs using uploaded broker data of any tradeable instrument. You dont need to code anything, or even have any idea for what you want an EA to do as the generator will create all systems for you, which you can then optimise, and test how robust any generated system is through its inbuilt monte carlo analysis. You can then export the system and trade on your own accounts. It is by far the most powerful EA program I have used in terms of what it can do and what it can create.
      As far as commercial EAs are concerned, I think the Forex Flex has quite good potential. It is important with flex to look into brokers and settings, in particular exit strategies. You can see a review I did for flex here: eaprofiler.com/forex-flex-ea/
      At the moment Ranger EA is proving reasonably stable and it will be interesting to see how it goes when I go live, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
      Cheers, Adam

      @@eaprofiler648 Hi There, do you perhaps have or know of anyone that have used EA Studio and developed any systems that have been tested on a live account over time. This really worries me and gives me the impression that EA Studio yields strategies that are so curve fitted that they fail immediately. Why does the creator of EA Studio not put his money where his mouth is and build up live data to show that it works. No where can i find anyone with results (not even a few months) that proves that it works.

    • @eaprofiler648
      @eaprofiler648  3 года назад +1

      Yes definitely the safest most consistent performer I have tried and with acceptable drawdown. It's a long term EA, and provided it continues to perform this way will see, will see a lot users into early retirement in 10 years.

      The demo account is now running both Ranger V3.6 on standard settings, and for the last week PinPoint EA aswell, which is another EA that Ryan Brown has developed. I have also started running Ranger on a live account since December 8 with comparible results so far, the only change I have made there is increase the risk factor for GBPCAD to 0.7 instead of 0.5, however this is not recommended by Ryan.
