Cayde wasn't hiding the location of the deep stone crypt, but something else, remember that he mentioned Enceladus. The crypt is on Europa, not Enceladus. The most accepted theory, taking into account that his message was directed to Petra Venj is that he located the last Harbinger of the awoken, a set of massive paracausal weapons used by Mara Sov to try and destroy the piramids, all of which were destroid on said attempt, except for the one on Enceladus.
When I was standing next to Variks, he said something about the Nine and how a Guardian walks among their ranks (or something to that nature)... then says “who has the Spider captured now!”.... this has me very confused because I immediately thought Uldren but idk!!!!
The guardian walking among the nine is the emissary, who was formerly known as Orin, an awoken guardian and friend of the drifter. The line talking about the spider is completely seperate from the nine one.
The thing i dont get is if im an exo and am made from vew fluid y can i not even sense the vex hive mind like all other robots with vex fluid in them can?
The vex fluid used to make exos was distilled, made inert and mixed with other fluids so it wouldn't turn the host into a vex. That didn't stop the vex tech interaction capabilities though, as we know from some scannable vex elements on Nessus and Io, when we try to interact with them as an exo guardian, our ghost tells us that we are somehow "attuned" to them, that he doesn't know how the tech will respond to us and advices us against further interacting with them.
Can someone explain to me how taniks is still alive, like didn’t we kill him in a strike? And what about in rise of iron where he got infused with siva, he doesn’t look affected by it in the raid
He has always been obsessed with mechanical augmentations. He tore his own arms off and made them mech, he became more machine than flesh. Becoming an exo is just downloading your brain then uploading into a robo body. Erimis stole his body downloaded tankis mind then uploaded it, the fallen seem to understand machines better than us. I think they slapped his body on the saber II from d1 strike. Just my thoughts.
So... where is this tower in the deep stone crypt and how come guardians during the raid never encounter it. What about the army that protects that tower.... Even though we supposedly raided the deep stone crypt, there are still mysteries yet unsolved, questions yet to be answered. The tower and the army exos dream of when they dream of the deep stone crypt are among those, and it is kind of frustrating that those mysteries weren't uncovered in the raid. Did we not actually go into the depths of the crypt?
@@ontos8914 yep. It is. It makes you wonder what the tower really is though. Why do the Exo's see that tower in there dreams. What's the relation between that tower, the darkness, and the Crypt?
I believe it may have something to do with the fail safe Clovis put in the exos, if they learn something or old memories resurface then it causes a mind wipe automatically. Since the exos are made from darkness the whisper could be during the time the exo is "offline" the statue/clarity is jabbering in their heads.
The Long Slow Whisper is actually the demonic whispering you hear when near darkness statues and artifacts. For some reason the whispering was an integral part of keeping an exo's mind stable during the process of transfering them to their new body
It is said that Taniks is "alive" because The Stranger was stuck in a time loop. The loop begins when Cayde killed Taniks the first time and ends when The Darkness wins. Taniks being "alive" signifies that The Stranger is coming out of the loop and there may be a future where the darkness doesn't win.
@@charleshot25 Wasn't the reason that Taniks is more machine than live being by now and can be easily reconstructed/revived with the appropiate tech? That's why all the times he was brought back succesfully some regenerative technology was involved(SIVA, Crypt reconstruction labs).
but why tf would they want to turn themselves into exo's? My best guess is that they they're scavengers and they wouldn't have to scavenge for food, but why is that so bad?
Well, the Eliskni don't exactly need to eat as humans do. Rather they rely on Ether to live, too long without that stuff, and they die. It's part of the reason why they used to worship Servitors. By becoming Exos, they no longer need Ether to survive, and as Exos, they are physically stronger than when they were flesh.
Eliksni have a reverence to technology. With Siva, the House of devils saw their technological ascendance through Siva. So, it would not be too much of a stretch for eliksni to see becoming Exo as a similar ascendance.
@@Dunshadow23 yh it makes sense as to why they'd do it but what's the huge issue about them turning into exo's, sure they don't need resources anymore but are they gonna be that much more of a threat?

That didn't stop the vex tech interaction capabilities though, as we know from some scannable vex elements on Nessus and Io, when we try to interact with them as an exo guardian, our ghost tells us that we are somehow "attuned" to them, that he doesn't know how the tech will respond to us and advices us against further interacting with them.
@@voltus20 oh interesting
What's the point of the morning star? Why would Clovis destroy his precious legacy on Europa?
I was kinda sad clovis didn't sound somewhat like banshee
This man has more lives than a cat
The morning star is the name used for Lucifer in the occult and the mystery religion.
Should’ve made his cloak a rare drop at the end 😤
Say what you will about the content. But the soundtrack of this season, is absolutely amazing.
I agree
what is bray exoscience is it an expansion of the deep stone crypt
Can someone explain to me how taniks is still alive, like didn’t we kill him in a strike? And what about in rise of iron where he got infused with siva, he doesn’t look affected by it in the raid
He has always been obsessed with mechanical augmentations. He tore his own arms off and made them mech, he became more machine than flesh. Becoming an exo is just downloading your brain then uploading into a robo body. Erimis stole his body downloaded tankis mind then uploaded it, the fallen seem to understand machines better than us. I think they slapped his body on the saber II from d1 strike. Just my thoughts.
Let me guess, bungie is going to make changes to Taniks and bring him back once again in the future
I mean, according to the lore, taniks will always come back stronger and stronger due to the modifications he gives himself.
Taniks the taken scourge? Next he gets a champion/overload shielding.
So... where is this tower in the deep stone crypt and how come guardians during the raid never encounter it.
The tower is in the exo challenges
@@ontos8914 yep. It is. It makes you wonder what the tower really is though. Why do the Exo's see that tower in there dreams. What's the relation between that tower, the darkness, and the Crypt?
@@Hylian_Glitchmobber its probably where Clovis found Clarity
Knowing Bungie... yeah it's safe to assume that they will recycle Eramis into future content. It's what they do.
So what this telling me is that even in 2020 Taniks still has no house???
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i want to see more exo enemies
Did anyone else see that frame rocking a gjallerhorn?
It's just the standard white/green rarity rocket design
EVADE!
Evade!!!!
What if... Eramis becomes an exo
Wait so the ship, is that the crypt? Or is the crypt the thing at the end? Very confused
The crypt is the building where encounter 1 and 4 takes place the morning star station is the ship
What if ras takes over clovis bray giant exos
Wait. So Atraks is an exo or Atraks 1 is an exo?
Noti Gang!
What is the “long slow whisper?”
Thank you for this video :)
Wait there trying to revive erimis and they just might
So wait, how was Taniks alive and why was he there?? 🤨
They revived taniks because taniks was very good at killing Guardians. He has the most guardian kills out of fallen
@@voltus20 Thats also part of it. Without spoiling anything, the time loop thing has something to do with next season
Why a fallen exo could be that powerful but we.... errr, you know what I want to ask.....
Song name of 1:00 pleeeeeeeaseeeee i need the nameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
but why tf would they want to turn themselves into exo's?
@@elitegamer9310 its not like a huge power upgrade tho is it, not the same as to wielding darkness for example
@@Dunshadow23 yh it makes sense as to why they'd do it but what's the huge issue about them turning into exo's, sure they don't need resources anymore but are they gonna be that much more of a threat?
@@rohansimha7625 well yeah....think about it....youre out hunting food and have people hunting you that do t really "need" food so your attention is on two target while a superior foe is so let focused on you....now you have a metal body and no longer need to divert your attention on anything except your enemy....did you remain the low man on the totem pole or did you somewhat advance your footing and create an advantage??
The part where we go to the space station is not clear... The space station is an amazing space, one of the best if not the best area bungie come up with so far and seeing it end the way it did (underwhelming in my opinion. That raid deserved a different boss and a different area to fight it not to mention that we had yet again, another fallen raid 🙄 I was really hopping to fight some frames instead since that’s the whole thing with the Clovis bray arc... but that’s just my opinion) instead of becoming a permanent space in the destiny universe is diassapointing... can’t say they nailed.
We haven't had many fallen raids.
Leviathan was cabal
Eater was vex/cabal
Spire was cabal
Last wish was taken
Scourge was Fallen yeah
Crown was hive
Garden was vex
DSC also fallen
2/8 raids being fallen isn't much
WotM another fallen raid
@@Yuta_fucking_Okkotsu That's d1 if we counting d1 then that's 3/11 raids being fallen, that's the least out of them all expect taken and they werent even original
Nice
im still irked at how destiny players call it jumping puzzles when its just platforming.
Would've been great if they gave us a different final boss instead of one we've dealt with at least twice before.
No this was perfect if u understand the lore
Thats real deeep
