    Excellent video! I got a good chuckle when, at the beginning, you were talking about measuring on your ear and said, "Let me get my ear," and without even a slight giggle, you reached out and slapped an ear on the table. LOL I expected the camera to focus on your real ear. I sure wasn't expecting you had an extra one just lying around. :)

    I've learned to wrap masking tape on my metal tools to avoid marking the wire.

      What do you mean, I took it off my head 😝 hehe. No, I got a left and a right one from amazon. It is a silicone ear model used for teaching acupuncture. They are actually quite nice quality. I just wish they were more true to size.

    What tools are absolute necessity for a person just starting to try making wire jewelry? Approximate starting costs?

    • @CSLdesigns
      @CSLdesigns  6 лет назад +1

      To be honest, all you really need when starting out is a set of basic pliers. Back when I started I got a set, which had a wire cutter, a round nose plier and a chain nose plier in a case, and it only cost about £10. They are still perfectly usable and I still use them occasionally. I have found most tool sets you buy like that are pretty good quality, and then you can always "upgrade" later on if you feel the need to. Any other tools are really extras, and often you can find household items to use in place of for instance mandrels. I hope that helped 😃
