I just started looking at discs after being away from disc golf for a while and what the HELL happened to disc mania?? My all time favorite discs are the MD1, MD3, and the CD drivers. And they stopped making them!! I'm clueless as to why

Not sure what you meant about the 13th run pd, but it is actually really special, the most overstable pd made, even more overstable than the 1st run. Kind of in between fd3 and normal pd.
I was excited for the retooled Tactic, but I'm going to have to abandon The Tactic all together in favor of The zone if The razorclaw 2 is the only way to get it.
I stopped throwing Discmania due to how hard/expensive it is to purchase replacements (if you can even find them). I wish they would make the jump to producing their own molds
I'm really going to love the Mutant! I have been looking for an overstable midrange. My most overstable midrange is my c-line Md3 so I really needed that one!

a big reminder why brand loyalty will either cost you lots of money or bring disappointment. Tons of MVP molds have been discontinued, which bums me out, as I am not paying 70 for a Reactor. Discraft is pumping out tour series discs, but theyre not quite the same... Maybe in 5 or 10 years disc golf will be established enough to have back stock available again (like the pre-covid boom days)
Seeing a few comments saying this already, but I completely agree with them in saying that it's an asinine decision to make the razor claw 2 the only way to get the retooled tactic. I mean, the original tactic was supposed to compete with the Zone and the Harp and whatnot, but they knew that it wouldn't even be a contest. With the early news of a retool, I thought I'd try to get one of those when it came out, but it seems it's just going to be another 5 minute sellout because they're labelling it as limited though? I think they should just own the mistake of the tactic and retool it indefinitely. The whole concept of "limited edition everything" is getting old, from this consumer's standpoint. Love DM, but it gets harder everyday.
Did anyone else turn the playback speed to .25 just to watch those first 2 throws? Eagle is a mutant I swear. I would be in the hospital if my body tried to bend like that. XD
DIscmania is really starting to concern me! The FD, PD, P2, FD2, and MD3 have all become staples in my bag, and now all the sudden I'm throwing around $100+ Nightstrike 1s, crowned eagles, PFN PD's ect. Its like are these molds really ever gonna come back?? I'm so worried to lose em on the course, and especially the P1x became my best putter.
That’s Discmania for you. Better sell everything you have while the demand is there, and switch to discs you can get easier. I did. I loved Discmania at one time. Hurt to sell it all off. But happy now with stock runs and availability.
I'm sure they would love to make those discs but for some reason it seems to be impossible. I don't know why tho. Could be that innova uses all the available manugacturing capacity on their own lineup. I wonder if they can start making the originals line when covid is over.
Really excited to try all the new overstable Evolution molds! I hope to see more Originals produced again in the future but at least we've got some useable discs for faster arms coming from Discmania again.
The retooled Tatic only available as a Razorclaw 2 is incredibly infuriating. What a stupid decision. Unless they make 10 times the amount of previous versions, this REALLY turns me off to Discmania.
This is what we've been dealing with for years now, they never make enough and the only way to get them is to pay 4-5 times the market value of them on eBay
The Evolution Neo plastic is amazing. Just got an essence and an instinct in on Tuesday, and I LOVE how they feel. I actually sat on my couch fiddling with the Essence while watching TV last night cause I like how it feels that much 😅
Re-tooled tactic only available as the extra rare limited edition (from scalpers) nice one Discmania.... Gonna change manufacturer, this limited edition hunting, for basic discs is dumb..
Anyone knows if Discmania is moving away from Innova? I'm getting the feeling that they rely more on the evolution and active stuff. Maybe its only during the covid time?
The Essence was my first disc! And I loved it so much!!! But sadly I lost mine!! I've been meaning to get a new one but haven't! 10/10 for beginners awesome disc good for flex lines:) and I'm really sad I lost lol! Love the disc!!
I started 6 months ago and essence is a fantastic disc. Also the genius is great if you have a less then desirable forehand. I can get it to hold left to right the entire flight after it breaks in. It's super domey but flies great
I keep hearing the shape of the disc has been hard to actually manufacture, maybe they got it or maybe they punted and went with some of these tilt-ish but not quite molds in Evolution line that you see here.
Really wasn't a big Eagle fan before but seeing those awesome One Piece stamps won me over instantly🙂 I wonder if he only watches main stream anime or is a real closet weeb off the course🤔

The instinct is one of my favorite discs. Like a slightly more overstable fd, so u can rip into it a bit more without it turning into a roller.
The latitude 64 discs with discmania stamps are way better than the Lat64 discs without dm stamps.

Razor Claw 2 seems to be like a Discraft Zone type utility approach/midrange as opposed to a traditional overstable midrange.
