I am only getting 42 stitches on row 3 after 20 plus times redoing. If row 2 is 37 stitches and you add 5 increase stitches wouldn't the total be 42 total stitches for row 3? Or I am doing incorrectly. I love the dress but, am ready to give up. Help please and thank you.
Hi, if you are getting 42 then it probably is right, Once in a while I have put the wrong count in so try the 42 sts. If you do the written instructions it should be right even if the count is not. See how that works for you! Thanks so much!

Should I be placing 1st stitch in ch 1 after turning in each row of skirt part?
