Woven Ring with Round Cabachon: Wire Wrap Tutorial: DIY Jewelry

This design is intermediate but mostly based on the weave you choose to do. You can do a much simpler weave than what I did here. FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE VIDEO: if you want to do a thicker shank with 5 or 6 rotations, you'll want to add a few inches to the length of your base wire. So cut it to 15, 16, or 17 inches as needed.
Supplies:
18 gauge round, soft silver colored artistic wire, 1 piece, 13.5 inches long
28 gauge round, soft silver colored artistic wire, 6 feet long, folded in half
10-12mm round cabachon
