Happy CNY ghib! I'm a mala fan and also your RUclips fan! So I'm defo gonna check this place out! Thank you for making so much effort to show us nice eating food n places! ❤
Hope you would do a episode on singapore football especially on the national team. Singapore last 2 national coaches are japanese and the current new coach , Tsutomu Ogura is also a japanese. Of course, there is a japanese club, abirex which is based in jurong east. A lot of japanese fans too.
I find the mala dishes to be tasty as a whole, but very pricey for vegetables. And the bowl is usually too big for a single person .When we pick maybe 8 items for yong tau foo, it will never reach $16. And that can include a bit of meat too. So learn to do it at home and you can adjust to taste. More numbness, add more Sichuan peppercorns. If you don't add chillies, then those who can't take the spiciness can enjoy the dish too. Read somewhere that for chillies, you can use Lau Gan Ma chilli crisp. Or if you want it even simpler, use a pre-made seasoning like the ones from Haidilao.
Hi Ghib , soon i will order Mala xiangguo , i wonder if thats d right spelling hehe😅. its been years i havent order it,, thks for reminding me 😅,, Huat always Ghib,, 👍😬
麻 (ma) = numb; 辣 (la) = spicy. I'm surprised you're a spice Lord 😅 Very rare to see Japanese able to tolerate spicy food. You've indeed adapt Singapore VERY WELL!
Does your wife know you went Orchard Towers alone?😂 Well the Japanese ladies finished their work and head over to eat mala every night. Thats how it became popular.
My best is so far is SHU Vegetarian in Jalan Kayu....蔬方斋 (Shu Fang Zhai).... It's a vegetarian fyi...i tasted the one in China, ots more super spicy and more "Ma" than our local one .

You mentioned that Chicken Rice is from Hainan but it's not, despite its name. HAINANESE Chicken Rice is from Singapore. 😅
Yes, from Hainan, their name for Chicken rice is "Wen Chang" ji....文昌鸡。。。And there is no 饭 (rice) in their description behind....
What brand is your black T-shirt?

Happy CNY 2024 🧧🧧🍊🍊
Hey, Ojib Ojisan. Ma La means “Numbing Spicy”.
not expecting it to be in Orchard Towers
It must feel good and ‘luxury’ to eat alone in a fast-food eatery 👍👍👍👍👍
mic check loud and clear
Green on earth is goated im not vegetarian but i prefer the clean mala taste from there. Not sure if they maintained their standards.
The way u eat. U no more a Japanese but a singaporen 😅🥵🍜🍲🍛😋😂
Novena Velocity #02--26 Jia Xiang Mala.
46:20 😂😂😂😂😂
Does your wife know you went Orchard Towers alone?😂

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Huat ah!
it's a haunted mall, murders, shady people, prostitutes denizens of the dark
The video resolution is poor.
Taste is good but not really big portion like what u got from them. Young lady (speaks English) and guy (blond) are very welcoming.
Believe must be too spicy for you.I can't take it myself especially those peppercorn spicy numbing not much of flavour.
