Hetch Hetchy Dam & Reservoir

On 4/15/2022, we visited the Hetch Hetchy Dam and Reservoir. It is located within the Yosemite National Park, but the road , is the only way in and way out. No other parts of the park were accessible without driving several hours.
After about a 45 minute drive from the turn off we reached the parking for the Dam.
We walked across the dam and then through a tunnel in the mountain until reaching the other side. We followed the Rancheria Falls trail, which provided amazing views. One part of the trail was very steep, but we made it, just in time to come upon the tiny waterfalls for water since we forgot our water bottles.
We visited 4/15/2022 prior to the new permit rule by the NPS. We are a small channel and are not monetized.
