Saw this in person on Memorial Day weekend 2018. I am happy SeaWorld seems to slowly coming back stronger than before! Too bad it was a bad weekend for weather though.
The Theme Park Guides cant agree more. Going back for the 4th, wonders what special events they have planned. Even if its just the usual electric ocean stuff, no complaints at all. I do miss the pirate themed sealion show though. The high school theme just does not work as well imo.
The Theme Park Guides I was at SeaWorld Orlando for the 4th this year. Weather ok until afternoon showers rolled in. It seemed to clear up, but just as the 8:45 Shamu Celebrations was about to start, a popup cell formed right over Orlando causing delays and inevitable cancellation. It was a packed house too! By the time Ignite was supposed to happen, SW was still in weather shutdown mode, so Ignite never happened. They did eventually fire off the July 4th fireworks, but it was close to 22:00 when that happened. All of Orlando got screwed, so some solace in that, but it sucked! Went back on the 6th, stayed all day. Had a heavy rainshower for two hours. Park was bustling before, was not many left after...people panick too easy sometimes. Stayed for Ignite and they got a little happy on the pyro, will not complain!
I prefer this version to Dolphin Days. And totally agree, the macaws really add some needed flair. And you can tell that they know they are the real stars of the show. Ha.

SeaWorld has been feeling like a full park again. It's been great seeing crowds again. Their amazing events sure do help.

I love the show, it's one of the smaller ones at SeaWorld. The macaws really add something to the show to.
