'Space Time' also from the first album is INCREDIBLE. If you want 'hypnotizing' and diverse, that's the song you wanna hear. It has elements of all Gojira eras. The live version of it from 'The Link Alive' is the best version, but of course, give the album version a try first, then maybe react to the live one, if you feel like it or it gets enough demand. Astonishing that it came from their debut effort when they were so young. Seeing them play this stuff on stage is 10 times as devastating and powerful as the record. Its almost unnatural how tight, in sync and connected these 4 guys are when playing together lol. Amazing band.
@@skullkida7x325 impossible question to answer. Too much depth in their tunes to single out a winner. For me, at least 85% of Ghost Reveries would qualify, The Moor, Eternal Rains Will Come, Serenity Painted Death, The Drapery Falls, The Funeral Portrait, Faith in Others and so on and so on. For me, anything pre - Still Life is too "metal", if that's a thing; thin midrange, lots of treble, buried bass lines, thin drums, minimal, if any, keys, a very "brittle" thin sound. However Ghost Reveries, thru headphones, is sonically and tonally jaw dropping. Plus those tunes on GR are so diverse and exploratory in nature. I encourage anyone with a functioning set of ears and a pair of headphones to say otherwise. \m/
Nice axes on the wall behind you !! Great Gojira's multi combo reactions last days , i'm huge fan but ....many channels reacting about same "songs" "bands"...not boring but try others things ... be more disruptive ^^ As a musician maybe some "instru" sometimes .... The tribal sound is especially prominent on their second album, The Link.
And thus, legends were born.
Indeed
The bass tone in these first two albums are brutal

Gojira - Remembrance!! Insane drumming in this one!
The insane drums are in “Fire is Everything” you missed that one.
Gojira - Space time
Blown me away - gojira is a masterpiece
Louis CK reacting to Gojira! haha. Keep them coming :) Back with their older albums, you can clearly hear the old school Morbid Angel's influence.
Lol
This will forever be my favorite Gojira song, great video!
Thanks
So much of this sounds like Pantera. Very chunky and groovy riffs.
Ugh, yes. I'm really enjoying your channel!!! Thanks for posting your thoughts on all these fantastic songs 🎉🎉

@@sonicallydisruptive Like Phil said, you HAVE to do the live version, they are so tight live and incredible performers.
Good vidéo production and good thoughts
If you havent yet please do where dragons dwell live by gojira.
Opeth - River
Craig Olson best song in pale communion in my opinion
@@skullkida7x325 awesome! Top three song for me. Must be listened to, regardless. Essential song to have graced one's ears.
Craig Olson totally agree, whats your favorite song by them? Its a tough choice for me, but I would go with Black Rose Immortal.
