He is pretty athletic, so I'm not surprised that he does his own stunts! But he does have a stunt double it's been show very little times but Tom is mostly doing his own. He's just a Amazing human

Tom does impressions of other celebrities, he was impersonating Alan Rickman as Professor Snape. he does Korg really well too. His best impersonation is that of the god of mischief ;) I love Loki so much and the series is so much fun loving all the variants.

Tom has said b4 he would like to do all the stunts himself so alot of times they have to pretty much have to carry him off set kicking n screaming .cause he really wants to do it all 🤣 there are some behind the scenes of him doing his own fight scenes while the other actors of the scene were using their stunt doubles which is prob really cool for the doubles . I wonder If because of Tom's training n done alot of theater n stuff sometimes the director feels more comfortable with letting him do his own stunts. I mean alot of actors do their own stunts ... so maybe not idk it was just a thought 🤔😅

It's not the fact that he did his own running, it's the fact that the director kept his shot for the final cut = he looked cooler doing it than his stunt double. That's amazing indeed! Of course he is classically trained, so not only can he act but I imagine that he's used to rehearsing in all kinds of costumes for the theater. That's what sets him apart from the majority of the MCU main cast.
Have you noticed how cosplayers move very carefully at Comicons so not to tear up anything? Regular Hollywood actors and actresses would worry about that too because if they tear anything they slow down the production. So while many of them learn to do the action scenes, they're not going to look cooler doing them on camera and in the costumes than the stunt doubles who are trained to move impeccably for the camera even in the most awkward gear. The directors will generally keep the stunt doubles shots when you can't see their faces.
@Pacificblue Moving in those wires isn't easy at all! Imagine remembering to give your best angle for those rollercoaster pictures, but for every second of the ride rather than just the end.
For the Hulk smashing Tom was asked to jump into trenches for that day of the shoot. So yes, he did all that could be done by an actor that was not CGI :3
It was revealed that the helmed was a two part helmet with an upper and lower part. He would put on the lower half and then they'd tack in the upper half so his head was locked into the helmet. Otherwise it wouldn't hold, due to the horns being so tall. He also took a real hit (and went down like a stone) as the helmet slowed his movement so much that faking the hit didn't look realistic enough :'D
