What I noticed owning different year of Vista 2015, 2021 & city select lux 2019 Both are easy to use, but more luxury is definitely the vista due to its colors and accessories, but if you want something more rugged or let it get dirty the lux is a best for me. Vista does have a wieght limit for the bottom seat, which isn't irrechangeable meaning you cannot put bottom Rumble seat to the top and top to bottom etc. But the lux provides that option. Also if you have a small trunk Vista seats do not fold, so your stuck doing tetris on both seats with frame. But other hand lux seat folds when you have a smaller car. Over all. I love both, so I decided to sell my Vista but keep my Vista parts meaning bassinets and Vista canopies since the canopies fit my lux very well, and I have adapters for uppababy accessories to fit a Mesa or bassinet. For now just a bassinet. I use it for my reborn therapy dolls. 😌 Also be ware of the Vista over time the brake with actually brake. And harder to fix happened to my 2015. Hope this helps others to choose too!
What a terrific video! So clearly informative... I love my Vista, although it's a bit too heavy for me to lift, I'll be purchasing a Cruz for car trips and use my Vista for strolling around and trips to market... My baby and I love your channel...🤗🙆♀️👶🍼
Thank you! That means a lot! You can learn more about the Cruz here www.babycubby.com/uppababy-cruz-stroller-henry-le-blue-marl-silver.html and also our Love your Stroller guarantee here www.babycubby.com/loveyourstroller
If you still have questions or need help narrowing down to your perfect stroller you are more than welcome to call one of our Cubby Moms in store at 801-770-0584. They would be more than happy to walk you through different features.
So you absolutely have to put the toddler seat in the top position, and the rumble seat on the bottom and they cannot face each other? I wanted to get this stroller to plan on 2 kids, but I would want to put my younger child closer to me...
It really depends on how big your oldest is and you can't predict that. My oldest is 2.5 and weights 25 pounds so he has a while before he outgrows the rumble seat and can sit down below. I will say that i tend to keep my toddler up high near to me because he wants to talk to me while my newborn couldn't care less where i put him. I know instinct is to keep the new baby closer but its the older kid that may want and need the interaction.
I see there is a chicco car seat adapter for the city select (great for transitioning our newborn from car to stroller without waking) - do you know if that will fit WITH the toddler seat (facing mama) or should I also purchase the bench seat or some other accessory for our toddler?
I chose both thanks 😊 Made the lux into a triplet. Also have the uppababy mesa fit on both strollers. Vista to malls, and not rough roads. Lux are for more terrain, 😅 Lux cannot raise or lower due to the triple option.
Hi thanks for the very detailed video. Quick question if you purchase the lower adapters can you use the toddle seat at the lower level of the vista or does the lower adapters only work for the bassinet?
Ledra Lawrence Great question! The toddler seat cannot be used on the bottom, it is only for the top position. The lower adapters are for the rumble seat and bassinet, and if you out a car seat there, then you need the lower adapters and he car seats adapters.
It definitely makes things easier so it doesn't get away from you while folding! Watch our how to fold the Vista video here ruclips.net/video/k8RQmx0pWB4/видео.html
Hi. You mentioned both strollers have plastic tires. I've read that some strollers jiggle a lot outside and I want to avoid that for our newborn. Which stroller would provide a smoother ride outside on asphalt and/or gravel? Thanks!
Hi Megan! So both strollers actually have foam filled tires. This material is used because it does absorb some of that energy when pushing on different terrain but you dont have to keep an air pump around like you would with air filled tires. Both strollers also have added suspension so they will both offer a pretty smooth ride on asphalt. We think they are both about the same as far as the ride goes, so we would recommend weighing the other features to make your decision. I hope that helps!
Hi Marina, this a great question and different situation. The Maxi Cosi Cabriofix is a European car seat so it is not often tested with adapters sold in the US. The adapters for Maxi Cosi are only tested with the Mico AP and the Mico Max 30. They seem to adapt in a similar way, however we cannot recommend it since it has not been tested.
Hello! Both of these strollers are amazing. We cant say which one is best because it is more of a personal preference, here are a few links to our website to help you out with the decision. Hi! Thanks for video. 2 qs 1. Can you have two bassinets attached for twin infants. 2. Do you have to hunch over to push with a glider attached. Does bar come out enough to cover that issue? I have a toddler and twins on the way so have to fit three on. Thanks
You can have 2 bassinets attached on both of these strollers! The handle bar on the City Select Lux comes out a bit further than on the Vista, but with both strollers, you really won't have to hunch!
The weight capacity on the Uppababy Vista is different. The main "toddler" seat (top position) has the higher weight capacity of 50 lbs where the lower "rumble" seat has a weight capacity of 35 lbs. The toddler seat from the bottom of the seat(where they sit) to top of canopy has anywhere from 21-23" depending on if you extend the canopy or not. The Lux, both seats have a weight capacity of 45lbs. If you have tall children the kick-board for both may be a better option or the Lux has the bench seat!
Hi I just got a couple of questions to ask. I know with the baby jogger the front and back wheels can come off which helps sometimes with boot space. Does the uppa baby wheels come out too?
Your videos are incredibly helpful! I love that the Vista can accommodate THREE children, if needed. (I'm having my 6th this year!) I have two questions: 1) Can both be folded with the car seat adaptor still attached? (And can they fold with the adaptor plus second seat?), 2) I'm thinking about folding size... Do you have dimensions for how big they both are folded down? I'd like to know size with two seats versus just one as well. Thanks!
Hi Beth! Both strollers can be folded with the car seat adapters attached, however depending on the specific adapters they may stick out (the Chicco adapter is the bar so it is larger). You should be able to fold both with most car seat adapter and the second seat attached but, however they may not be able to with the Chicco adapter because it is larger. As far as folding size, we believe that the Vista will have the smallest fold with the second seat attached but we do not have specific dimensions.
Loved this comparison! My only question is about maneuverability. I’ve heard the city select can be harder to maneuver than the vista. I love that each seat on the city select can hold the same weight so I’m leaning toward getting that one however I don’t want it to be difficult to use.
Hi, I love your videos, very helpful! As far as configurations go, does one have more than the other? Also, does one offer more space/leg room when both seats are attached? I’ve read reviews on the baby joggers that the recline is limited when both seats are placed, it is the only thing holding me back from purchasing. Thank you!
Jackie Valdez We apologize for the late response. The vista has fewer configurations because the rumble seat, car seat and bassinet are the only ones that can go in the bottom position. The toddler seat can only be in the top position. They both have equal amount of leg room with both seats, however, the vista does have upper adapters that you can use to add more height to the top position.
Hi Miranda! Most double strollers have similar weight capacities (35-55 lbs). With some strollers the two seats will have different weight capacities, however with Irish Twins this many not be an issue. If you do want both seats to have the same weight capacity you may consider getting; Baby Jogger City Select or Lux (45 lbs for both seats), or the Nuna Demi Grow (50 lbs for both seats) or the Bumbleride Indie Twin (50 lbs for both seats, side by side). What color is the far back on the lux stroller
Thank you for the perfect review! I find your videos so helpful and calming. Keep it up!
Is the bassinet included with the city select ? Or is is only the vista
Alicia Ramsdell Yes, it is only with the vista. The bassinet for the city select is a separate purchase.
I chose both thanks 😊
Made the lux into a triplet.
Also have the uppababy mesa fit on both strollers.

Which one pushes easier
The vista, but IT doesnt have much suspension. Their new model thats being released in february 2020 willl though
Do you have to engage the footbrake on the Vista for the stroller to stand while folded to keep the stroller from rolling away?
It definitely makes things easier so it doesn't get away from you while folding! Watch our how to fold the Vista video here ruclips.net/video/k8RQmx0pWB4/видео.html
is it possible to put the bassinet on the top position, and the rumble seat on the lower position with adapters?
Clarissa Fermin absolutely!
Clarissa Fermin no it’s not with the vista but you can put a car seat on top
@@MB-ht4ep You can actually, but not the toddler seat. They are different seats remember.

Hand break is WAY better for when you’re going down hill especially if you have the double seats with kids.
Yes the hand break is so helpful when going down hills!
Go for it
Id like to know what’s the best stroller for twins. Thanks!

Which is lightest to steer and lift up curbs
Both strollers weigh about the same, the Vista s a few pounds lighter so it may be slightly easier to lift up on curbs.

2. Do you have to hunch over to push with a glider attached. Does bar come out enough to cover that issue? I have a toddler and twins on the way so have to fit three on. Thanks

what color/model Vista is that? Its beautiful
Bianca Torres isn't it? It is the Denny color.

I haven't had a vista but my city select is horrendous to maneuver😱. I love my city mini though 😍
