The choreographer for this dance is Sienna Lalau from USA, she also choreographed the ON kinetic menifesto film dance. In that, She was the dancer at the very front with the drums at the start. BTS uses her dance group when they do concerts in US, including recent Jhope’s Lollapalooza in Chicago in July this year. 💜

Aside from getting recognized by their choreographer when he had his Intro: Singularity, there is a confirmation that he is part of the dance line and was promoted as a Lead Dancer because of their updated profiles that was given by the company(Bighit) itself.
v is part of dance line but not lead dancer...the dance positions that bighit gave members stayed the same as well as vocal and rap positions. the only change is visual line tae and jk were added along with jin.. and dance line tae was added
the last segment of the song is very symbolic how joonie is in the middle because he’s the leader and the maknaes (youngests) are on his right and his hyungs (older brothers) are on his left and the 7 in the middle meaning “we are ot7” which is all of them !
Also the hyung for the maknae and hyung lines were at the front. They did in oldest to youngest order and Joonie is right in the middle according to age.

As a Yoongi bias, it's fun to see your guys' first reactions to him since you haven't looked deeper into his music and personality yet. He is definitely an introvert and on the quieter side as you have observed (although lately he seems much more carefree and bubbly) and he may look younger than he actually is, but he is actually quite an old soul and also very very caring of the other members and acts like an older brother to them by cooking and advising them. I really can't wait for you to listen to his self-produced music and lyrics, both his work for BTS as Suga and his solo work as Agust D, where he talks about his personal struggles with mental health and fame, world views and life experiences and also songs where responds to the people who looked down on him in the past. Chapter 2 Yoongi has had a glow up and is coming for all of us. And yes, they did the scarf throw/faux catch in the live concert. Everything they did here, they did it in the concert. The same girl who choreographed ON did their choreo here. She's extremely talented. Her dance crew backed them up at the PTD concerts, at the Grammys, and at Hobipalooza. This was the second song of the concert. They usually start with 3 hard hitting songs. Ending songs are usually more ARMY focused sentimental anthems. They are dressed in very casual styles at the end, tour t shirts. Just chilling with the fans.
This was an awesome song for BTS to perform before the break. Also for Jimin being mentioned as a contemporary dancer only is because I think a lot of reactors tend to box in members based on the introduction videos. Jimin does contemporary which distinguishes him from the other members (not undermine them) but Jimin is actually extremely versatile and is good at multi genres of dance forms. He’s done hip hop dance before contemporary where he’s won some freestyle dance battles. Not to mention he’s only done really about 2 years of contemporary of which he was accepted as the top student of the entire class (it’s unthinkable. It’s incredibly hard getting into art schools in Korea. Kids prepare since they are 4 years old to prepare. It’s an extremely competitive and cutthroat field.) Jimin is a pioneer who successfully married different genres of dance seamlessly and made it a thing. I love his dance.

Goerge Michael singing over Jimin´s belly exposed rewinded several times was somehow something I really needed today. THANK YOU! And....talking about creativity with clothes....you need to watch their Grammy performance of Butter....the dance is insane. Plus it has a backstory.....they couldn´t practice much cause several of them were held up by covid, Jin was after surgery and they never managed to do it right during practice. They had like one day to prepare! They are just insanely professional and in sync with each other.

This was only song number two in the concert though - their energy level is insane. this was actually one of the opening songs. BTS always performs a softer song in the end (songs that are written for Army like Magic shop, Mikrokosmos, etc) followed by fireworks when they are exiting the stage cause they don't want Armys to get sad watching them leave and instead watch the fireworks light up the sky

Their main choreographer is Son Sungdeuk who’s been with Big Hit since they were trainees and is responsibility for the majority of the their choreos with as you noted, j-hope and Jimin working alongside, and then Siena Lalau did On and Run BTS! She’s in the On video too, the girl at the beginning drumming fiercely. She was with j-hope during Lollapalooza with blonde hair too, they’re good pals and dance colleagues. The choreo is such an integral part of BTS; I’d love you to react to their first two videos No More Dream and Bulletproof pt 2 and see the insane choreo and the huge number of backup dancers they had since the beginning… by the way Abbie; usually the dancers are trainees from the company who tour with established Kpop bands to learn the business from the inside and support the company that way too. Recently debuted &Team (BTS’ baby bros from Hybe Japan label) have Fuma a Japanese dancer who was onstage with BTS in the 2017 tour and Lee Know from Stray Kids was a dancer with BTS 2016-2018. I like that they can kinda apprentice with bigger bands. No fun for us though 😂 I’d love to do a world tour with them!

What I noticed from all of the bts concerts is that they start of very energetic and everyone is pumped, having the time of our lives, and as the concert goes on, the mood slowly becomes relaxed and happy. Almost like exercising and a cool down 😂

What you see in dance practice, is what you will see in a live performance. BTS doesn't cut corners when they are dancing. They dance as if their lives depended on it, each and every time. I laughed out loud, when Zen mentioned the focus fancams; it was perfect! I thought, if they only knew. 😂💜

It was actually the 2nd performance. They sang Mic Drop first, then Run BTS then Run without any breaks. It was crazy. I was not a fan of BTS but when I saw the Busan concert I became a fan instantly after seeing those performances back to back. The hard work they put in, it's insane. Their dedication and with very little time to practice in order to prepare for that concert that was not really on their schedule that year. I just saw the Yet to come movie too and it was amazing seeing the concert on big screen. Hats off to all the members.

Run BTS choreography was done by Sienna Lalau, the same choreographer of ON. She's soooo good, right?!!! 💜💜💜 And the boys doing it, uuuggghhh!!!! From what I understand, usually in kpop they either get several choreo submissions from different choreographers from korea and abroad to choose from (only then the choreographer gets credited and paid), or they invite a specific one to make it for them. With Sienna's amazing ability to create and her close relationship with the boys, I wouldn't be surprised if she was solely asked by the company to do this for them. Sometimes they learn the dance from the choreographer him/herself if they are in korea, if not, they learn it from a video. Crazy, right? :) Anyway, the whole performance could also be adjusted based on the performance director's decisions and the boys' inputs, so some parts of the original choreo could be omitted/changed. It's great to watch your reactions and laugh with you guys (especially the part when Gabriel almost implied they can see from the backs of their heads 😂) I burst out laughing at exactly the same time as the others and it felt like I was hanging out with them. Thanks for this, ARMYs needed this. We are all currently crying over Jin's official entrance to the military today. He's spending his first night in the training camp as we speak (*sniff*). Love this! Glad you did the dance practice. You can see all of it, especially more than a concert or music video. That’s why we love these, they do have videos of them learning them, but not 100 percent learning them. Just short clips of them learning and especially J-hope and Jimin teaching RM and Jin.

They tend to start big and grand with songs like Dionysus, On, Not Today (though you guys haven't seen that one yet) etc. The endings are usually long and drawn out because no one wants to leave. 😂They perform some hits and popular song medleys with a lot of energy and then they have what we call 'Army Time' where they change out of their costumes and put on comfy clothes and give their speeches and talk to fans and sing some more songs and then they end on some soft and sweet songs- like mikrokosmos, spring day, yet to come etc. Armys are usually in tears after leaving the concerts😁 Hope u guys have a nice day!

Chapter 2 Yoongi has had a glow up and is coming for all of us. And yes, they did the scarf throw/faux catch in the live concert. Everything they did here, they did it in the concert. The same girl who choreographed ON did their choreo here. She's extremely talented. Her dance crew backed them up at the PTD concerts, at the Grammys, and at Hobipalooza. This was the second song of the concert. They usually start with 3 hard hitting songs. Ending songs are usually more ARMY focused sentimental anthems. They are dressed in very casual styles at the end, tour t shirts. Just chilling with the fans.

This was an awesome song for BTS to perform before the break. Also for Jimin being mentioned as a contemporary dancer only is because I think a lot of reactors tend to box in members based on the introduction videos. Jimin does contemporary which distinguishes him from the other members (not undermine them) but Jimin is actually extremely versatile and is good at multi genres of dance forms. He’s done hip hop dance before contemporary where he’s won some freestyle dance battles. Not to mention he’s only done really about 2 years of contemporary of which he was accepted as the top student of the entire class (it’s unthinkable. It’s incredibly hard getting into art schools in Korea. Kids prepare since they are 4 years old to prepare. It’s an extremely competitive and cutthroat field.) Jimin is a pioneer who successfully married different genres of dance seamlessly and made it a thing. I love his dance.

Goerge Michael singing over Jimin´s belly exposed rewinded several times was somehow something I really needed today. THANK YOU! And....talking about creativity with clothes....you need to watch their Grammy performance of Butter....the dance is insane. Plus it has a backstory.....they couldn´t practice much cause several of them were held up by covid, Jin was after surgery and they never managed to do it right during practice. They had like one day to prepare! They are just insanely professional and in sync with each other.

BTS always performs a softer song in the end (songs that are written for Army like Magic shop, Mikrokosmos, etc) followed by fireworks when they are exiting the stage cause they don't want Armys to get sad watching them leave and instead watch the fireworks light up the sky

Their main choreographer is Son Sungdeuk who’s been with Big Hit since they were trainees and is responsibility for the majority of the their choreos with as you noted, j-hope and Jimin working alongside, and then Siena Lalau did On and Run BTS! She’s in the On video too, the girl at the beginning drumming fiercely. She was with j-hope during Lollapalooza with blonde hair too, they’re good pals and dance colleagues. The choreo is such an integral part of BTS; I’d love you to react to their first two videos No More Dream and Bulletproof pt 2 and see the insane choreo and the huge number of backup dancers they had since the beginning… by the way Abbie; usually the dancers are trainees from the company who tour with established Kpop bands to learn the business from the inside and support the company that way too. Recently debuted &Team (BTS’ baby bros from Hybe Japan label) have Fuma a Japanese dancer who was onstage with BTS in the 2017 tour and Lee Know from Stray Kids was a dancer with BTS 2016-2018. I like that they can kinda apprentice with bigger bands. No fun for us though 😂 I’d love to do a world tour with them!

What I noticed from all of the bts concerts is that they start of very energetic and everyone is pumped, having the time of our lives, and as the concert goes on, the mood slowly becomes relaxed and happy. Almost like exercising and a cool down 😂

What you see in dance practice, is what you will see in a live performance. BTS doesn't cut corners when they are dancing. They dance as if their lives depended on it, each and every time.

Also when RM threw the bandanna, it fell on the ground, Tae already had another in his hand, and yes, this was also in the concert. Also, I don't think you noticed but the bandanna that Jin threw on the floor, he swiftly picked it up again while still dancing so that no one will slip, it was quite mpressive!
I hope you can react to more of their dance practices where you can see their raw talents. Their dance practice videos usually have millions of views too.

It was actually the 2nd performance. They sang Mic Drop first, then Run BTS then Run without any breaks. It was crazy. I was not a fan of BTS but when I saw the Busan concert I became a fan instantly after seeing those performances back to back. The hard work they put in, it's insane. Their dedication and with very little time to practice in order to prepare for that concert that was not really on their schedule that year. I just saw the Yet to come movie too and it was amazing seeing the concert on big screen. Hats off to all the members.

Run BTS choreography was done by Sienna Lalau, the same choreographer of ON. She's soooo good, right?!!! 💜💜💜 And the boys doing it, uuuggghhh!!!!
From what I understand, usually in kpop they either get several choreo submissions from different choreographers from korea and abroad to choose from (only then the choreographer gets credited and paid), or they invite a specific one to make it for them. With Sienna's amazing ability to create and her close relationship with the boys, I wouldn't be surprised if she was solely asked by the company to do this for them. Sometimes they learn the dance from the choreographer him/herself if they are in korea, if not, they learn it from a video. Crazy, right? :)
Anyway, the whole performance could also be adjusted based on the performance director's decisions and the boys' inputs, so some parts of the original choreo could be omitted/changed.
It's great to watch your reactions and laugh with you guys (especially the part when Gabriel almost implied they can see from the backs of their heads 😂) I burst out laughing at exactly the same time as the others and it felt like I was hanging out with them. Thanks for this, ARMYs needed this. We are all currently crying over Jin's official entrance to the military today. He's spending his first night in the training camp as we speak (*sniff*). Love this! Glad you did the dance practice. You can see all of it, especially more than a concert or music video. That’s why we love these, they do have videos of them learning them, but not 100 percent learning them. Just short clips of them learning and especially J-hope and Jimin teaching RM and Jin.

The endings are usually long and drawn out because no one wants to leave. 😂They perform some hits and popular song medleys with a lot of energy and then they have what we call 'Army Time' where they change out of their costumes and put on comfy clothes and give their speeches and talk to fans and sing some more songs and then they end on some soft and sweet songs- like mikrokosmos, spring day, yet to come etc.
Armys are usually in tears after leaving the concerts😁
