    The electric organ brand Lowrey also sold these keyboards under their name, as "Micro Genies" based on the genie autochord system in their organs.

    Wenn I was a kid, we had a KB-303, basically the same model in a bit different housing. The sound generation is analog, which made it sound warm compared to the digital keyboards from the era, but the "imitation" of real life instruments was very poor.
    The biggest problem were the single rubber contacts wearing down, after a couple of years, there were always a few keys not working, and trying to repair it was a continuous buisiness, "mopping with the tap open" we would say in Dutch...

    That's not a door, its a fold away music stand, that also doubles to stop the buttons and sliders becoming prone to dust like many 80s keyboards were.

    I've No Idea JVC Made This Keyboard in the 1980s.
    I Know That JVC Made Some Headphones DVD Players ETC.

      I wonder if the oscillator(s) are digital if it's a top-octave design? Are the guts of this similar to a Cromar orchestrator or something like that?
      I think some models possibly have an analog filter as well
