Hi, thanks for asking... meanwhile I have changed my setup with a X32 Mixer and a 49" widescreen monitor, since then the touchdisplay is obsolet for me. But using it for a mixer-setup is absolut ok... (works not on a mac!)
If the vst supports the mouse wheel then you could touch screen select the knob and mouse wheel to move. Use bomes midi translator to assign an endless encoder to do the mouse wheel.
Don't understand how this work. For example, what happens when you have three or two monitor On, some which are touch and some which are not... What happens with the mouse's arrow? Appear and disappear? Do an arrow appear on the touch monitor as soon you star typing on a keyboard?
Hello, let me explain (#1 and #2 =normal screens #3 the touchscreen!) : The mouse arrow will follow your fingertips! Unfortunately it is not possible to have more than one active mouse on one computer independet! If you touch the touch-screen the mouse will immediately appear under that point you touch the surface. If the mouse was on screen #2 it will be now on the touchscreen. If you use a onscreen-keyboard the pointer will under every finger you use. So if you are on #1to use the mouse for an action and you touch "by mistake" the touchscreen, the mouse is on #3 and wait for you next action... So the touchscreen is like a mouse... I have vetted for a practical solution, but there is nothing to expect. I think that only a small number of people use a touchscreen for normal daywork...

Nun, in 4 Jahren hat sich mein Konzept natürlich weiter entwickelt, zwischenzeitlich nutze ich nur noch 2 Monitore - wobei der Touchscreen rausgefallen ist. Ich nutze wieder ein komplettes Pult (Behringer X32), der Bedarf des Screens hat sich damit erübrigt... hat aber ganz nett funktioniert, muss ich zugeben. Unter den vorherigen Umständen würde er wieder Einzug halten, aber das X32 leistet ganze Arbeit... LG Michael🤗
Hi.... ich habe eine Nvidia GTX 1080 drin, die kann drei Monitore verwalten. Dazu die Mainboard Grafik dazu macht dann 4. Mit USB-Adaptern hatte ich früher 6 Monitore dran, aber die haben dann extrem viel delay...lohnt nicht.

Apple-Manager Craig Federighi told in 2018 the people there is no need for a touch-screen, more, he said it is meaningless... well, I don't want to comment his statement. Iiyama have a list in wich all OS are listet, and Apple is crossed out, so there is no chance for a touch display on Apple. Sorry for that, maybe you should ask yourself about an OS wich allowed the users to choose own solutions like Windows or Linux, or you wait. Apple want to test touchresponsible screens in 2020 / 2021 in a interworking with Apple smartphones...the patend is called "Cross Device Interactions" but just to own a patend does not end in a usable product... I have closed with Apple a few years ago and I'm so satisfied to be the owner of my smartphone or tablett, and not vice versa! Apple was the first and the best but these times are gone and they have lost to be on the same level as their customers! I wish you the best ;-)
@Gutter Punk Hello - and yes, it works on a Windows Computer. So it should work with Ableton too. It makes more sense if Ableton can be split in separate single areas / windows - I don't use that DAW.

Hello Romain, what a question...😆 Well, I don't think so because it makes no sense for me. The circle is small enough - but ok, it's a personal choice. I will take a look into the menu and write again, ok?

Hallo Patrick, der Druck, den man benötigt, um eine Funktion auszulösen, ist recht gering. Natürlich nicht wie bei einem Smartphone, aber doch recht wenig. Ich habe dann mal so fest gedrückt, bis die beschriebene Verfärbung auftritt - da musste ich schon sehr fest drücken um überhaupt was zu verfärben! Hätte ich nicht gedacht... Also Daumen hoch für den Bildschirm. 👍
Hello, unfortunately not... this will not work like an apple iPhone only with a touch screen. The ios must support such a function the same way as the vst-program. It is more like an alternative to the mouse...

Hello to Croatia, thank you for being on my channel. Well, the Aster program is absolute opposite to the way I use my computer. I need only one place with a few monitors to work with my audio or video program, a multi "client" solution is not a practical way for me. Das ist wirklich interessant! Also: Bei mir springt der Mauszeiger beim Berühren des Touch-Screens auf dem großen Monitor oben in der unteren linken Ecke! Liegt vielleicht daran, wie ich die "Aufstellung" in Windows vorgenommen habe. Berühre ich den Touchscreen, dann ist die Maus nicht mehr bewegbar... Bis zu zehn Berührungspunkte gehen übrigens per Finger auf dem Touchscreen. Mehrere Touchsccreens dürften sich nicht in die Quere kommen, denke ich. Die Maus oder den Touchscreen als 2 ten Zeiger einrichten...Ich konnte im Netz auch nichts sinnvolles darüber erfahren. Sorry für die späte Antwort, ich bekam mal wieder keine Info über RUclips darüber!

Hallo, das ist keine Maus sondern ein Controller für diverse Anwendungen. Alle Knöpfe sind programmierbar, die beiden Drehregler ebenfalls. Sehr gut bei Audio- und Videobearbeitung einsetzbar. ShuttlePro 2 von Contour Design, um die 100 Euro...
Benutze auch filmora, und finde das es ziemlich einfach ist.. bist sympatisch, und für dein Alter echt fit was Technik angeht.. so manch andere haben schon Probleme ein Handy zu bedienen. =) Grüße aus Siegburg :)

Ich dachte immer nur maximal drei! Nvidia gibt sich zwischenzeitlich als unnütz, da steht nur "YES" bei Multimonitor... Ich teste das morgen aus! ;-)

Blackmagic Davinci Resolve Studio. Mit nicht allzuviel Unterschied funktioniert auch die kostenlose Version sehr gut.
