Kelly, I couldn't agree more with you that lately most people are so wrapped up in themselves. And there is a huge lack of connection. I think people are very focused only on social media as if it were a real company and what I look for is more connection between us. For example, when I take my dog for a walk, everyone is looking at their cell phone or walking with headphones and it's hard for me to talk to people, which is what gives me energy and satisfaction, you know? Before, I didn't find that barrier in people like I do now and the fact of socializing with real people is what I really look for. The product that I am enjoying the most is the Black Rice Probiotics Barrier essence from Skin 1004. I am actually obsessed. I use it before my moisturizer and it is exquisite. It leaves the skin soft, it is so nourishing and replenishing. I really love it, and that's even though it's summer. But it's a miracle for my dry skin here in Chile (Latin America), because the climate is very dry. A big hug Kelly from Chile 🥰

I did a group meditation last night and felt so grounded and being in community with other sensitive people who feel (and inadvertently take on) other people's sadness and terror in the air with all that's going on now and it really helped me stay grounded in my body. I've been so anxious and floating and sad and scared as I watch what's going on. It's easy to lose hope. But being together and doing something calming all together - which was drinking tea, quick meditation, a little journaling, socializing, etc was the hour and a half that was so helpful at easing the fears and the burden of knowing we can't help everyone.

I’m one minute into your video and I have to say…. Every single time I get a little cocky with my skin like “mmmm damn my skin is looking fire. It looks like all my issues are gone…” BAM! Breakout lol. Why is that? 😂

Me, too! I start to feel over confident and then I make mistakes: I eat things I know cause breakouts, I skip a skincare treatment, or I add something to make my skin *even better* but it backfires. But I do try to remind myself that consistency matters the most when I start to think about making these mistakes again! Or sometimes, it’s just been a month and the hormones fluctuate again. *sigh

Hey Kelly, I love dry brushing my body skin for lymphatic drainage, helps smooth out cellulite and stretch marks and the biggest benefit is that it helps the skin produce collagen.
Now I just don’t use just any dry brush, I use one that has copper bristles for the most benefits for overall health of not only the skin but your whole body. The reason is the copper bristles and the friction against your skin produces negative ions which neutralize the positive ions that bombard us on the daily from electronics. So it helps protect us from that. Basically helps reduce oxidation from the positive ions.
I personally have seen dramatic results. My stretch marks on my thighs are much lighter and way less noticeable. They are no longer raised. Cellulite is less bumpy, still working on getting it smoothed out. But the lymphatic drainage is awesome! If you’re bloated, it can slim down the water retention so quickly!

I have heard good reviews about Renewal Body Lotion by alpha skincare. They have 2 versions with 12% and 10% glycolic acid. For me, the 7% glycolic toner by the ordinary is great for bumpy arms.
A great hack I saw on youtube was to use chapstick on the cuticles and edges of fingers. It helps so much to keep the cuticles from drying out & lifting and the very corners of your fingers from drying and cracking. And you dont have greasy fingers ! This is great if you have to wash your hands multipe times a day in this weather.

It’s a good sign that you keep mentioning the products that you love😊 I’m mad at myself (but more mad at Yesstyle, those bastards) for not buying the Haru Haru Wonder Black rice probiotics essence when it was 14 USD at Yesstyle a couple of weeks before Black Friday. On actual Black Friday and the days before that, they doubled the price. And now everyone still talks about it so they will not lower the price… I’ll wait until the hype is over and it’s 14 USD again😂 but ever since you first mentioned the product I knew I would love it

This discussion is so thorough! It’s definitely been layers of toners and essences for me this winter. I also started taking the Ritual Hyacera for a couple of months and it has helped with skin hydration.
I’ve been caring more for my back, too. I began to realize mine is more like keratosis pilaris that becomes inflamed when I pick at it. But trying to figure out exfoliation without irritation has been harder than I thought - I think I need both chemical and physical exfoliation. The Necessaire seems like an interesting next step!
I’ve been interested in the Naturium urea serum for the rest of my body for hydration. Gah! The winter.

I really like "Italy Towels" for physical body exfoliation. It's the rough cloth they use in Korean spas, I'm not sure why they are sometimes called Italy Towels but that search will pull them up, you can also search Salux Cloth.

Thanks, Kelly for the video! I really liked the point you made and the metaphor you used about people being stuck in their boxes. So true!
About skincare findings (my skin is dry and can be sensitive to some ingredients)
    1. Isintree Onion Booster (like VT Riddleshot) - I've been using it for about 6 months now and have been enjoying it. Would be good if you could do a comparison between these two (besides the fact that VT has different versions of it's Riddleshot😊).
    2. MISSHA Vita C Ascorbic Acid Spot Correcting & Firming Ampoule I haven't recently started using it but so far, surprisingly impressed. Have you tried it? I don't see many reviews of it for some reason although the ingredient list is very similar to Numbuzin no 5 but this MISSHA has a more potent yet gentle vitamin C (because it's encapsulated) and it has more calming and barrier strengthening ingredients. Do recommend unless you are very sensitive.
    Love to everyone ❤

Hi, I think that Missha serum can be very good for dark spots, but it has a lot of essential oils that can make it irritating for sensitive skin and irritation is the last thing your skin needs to treat dark spots, because irritation can turn into a dark spot, you know? 😊

I have the nessicary body serum on my list and their body oil which sold out super fast it has copper Peptides and some other stuff that looks great wish it wasnt made with grapefruit oil but im intrigued to try it. I have really been into bodycare. I actually bought the One skin body cream yep 99$ for a body cream but i wanted to see what all the hype was and if their was anything behind this OS1 peptide. I haven't been using it long enough to report on but i do like it . I also bought the new Numberzine #9 serum and i really am liking that so far , its called an essence but its a serum to me and it has some really nice ingredients. Also their are 2 versions a US and a Korean version. I guess US banned ingredients and the Korean version has mnm in it . I think we can still get the korean if we order it from korean sites but i ordered from Numberzine amazon because i was impatient and didn't realize their was 2 version. U look beautiful today, love the makeup look .

What is the fragrance for the fwee gloss? I have hated all the k beauty glosses I've bought as they all have a chemical fruity scent. I do like one lip mask and it is fruity but less intense, the makeup seems to be strong and I can taste it. I don't like perfume taste in my mouth. Vanilla is nice and light fruit is ok. Chanel, Gucci, Hermes lipsticks taste like fancy old lady. So expensive and I can't stand to wear them... I want to love them so I keep trying. I also have really sensitive lips and the fragrance feels irritating.

    Excellent self-care segment, Kelly. 🩷
Because of the extreme cold and harsh winds here in London, UK, I'm still heavily relying on the Haruharu Wonders black Rice essence (the creamy one you show briefly in this video too, at the bottom of the screen). I'm almost running out though, and since I trust and hope that the worst of the winter will soon be on its way out, not sure I'll be repurchasing it before next autumn. The Skin1004 Probio Cica intense ampoule might work as a in-between season protective and calming layer. All of this after layers and layers of hydrating toner, of course 😅. Can't live without toner, that is a fact! I just received today the Jumiso Waterfull one and it's turning out to be a pleasant surprise: watery, but with a whisper of body, as you'd say in your lovely descriptive style.
