Ha haa my property is actually only 1/4 acres, the rest belongs to the city but it’s a common open area.

Nice comparison and perfect video with natural light. Another thing to consider is that the older version was less than 100 dollars new and could be gotten for around 50 on sale, which was really good value even back then.

No idea why the Bayside Blue is slightly different on this Nismo version. But to let you, Nissan only build approx. 19 cars majority in silver. Only two in Midnight Purple. So this blue is considered a 'fantasy' colour maybe that's why it could be different.

I didn’t know the blue is much rarer!

another big difference of the front face is the new one has a sticker logo and the old one is a painted plastic, the look and feel is way different

The old model has it's charm, metal models will always feel better to hold. But the old diecast molding it's a bit inaccurate shape-wise, especially the front end, I get it, it's a 20 year old model (I think it's actually closer to 20 years than 15), but considering the price difference isn't that much, I would go for the new composite model, it looks like a carbon copy of the real Skyline. If I already had the diecast model, I wouldn't upgrade to the composite, otherwise I'd go for the new model.

Nissan themselves have many different color codes for Bayside blue... now I would chalk up the difference on the models due to just inaccuracies in the fabrication but you could mask it saying that Nissan themselves had many color codes for bayside blue :P

The composite car feels a lot lighter in weight? Or it is similar in weight to the metal one?
