Most Ravenloft music focuses on the paranoia and the horror of Barovia, this is a beautiful piece that instead explores the loss of innocence on a beautiful valley. This is less about fear, more about mourning what once was, and it's beautiful.
Indeed, and very very well put! It's exactly the kind of feeling I was hoping to evoke :-) Not sadness for what is, but what could have been.. (and perhaps will be, who know?) ;-) Many thanks for the very kind words!
Wow... You're successfully doing the two things I am trying to do, improvising in a baroque style and composing ethereal soundscapes. You are truly an inspiration. Keep it up! Does the uploading of this soundtrack have any relation to the release of Elden Ring? :)
Many thanks for the very kind words; keep improvising/playing/composing the world needs your music Sam ❤️🙂! I just improvised this one and hastily uploaded it (for fun mainly haha) but you’re right I should definitely test it in Elden Ring 😉😅, see if it fits the mood 😁!
Many thanks 😊! Oh I actually did it myself! Thought it was going to be more fun than just a static image 🙂. If you’re interested I could probably give you a download link for it 😉

A simple masterpiece. Thanks.
You're very welcome :-)!
Such a great piece! Love using it in my sessions. But is there a version without the ambience noises like Rain, Thunder, Bells and such?

I don't think we should be here. Why don't we take that dwarf up on his offer and find that mine?
Great music! One thing though, where did you find this moving version of the gates of Barovia?
