For someone who found Sayu before her "Idol" debut, this hits so hard. The only Vtuber lore that made me cried and feels genuine.
This actually almost moved me to tears, knowing how much of this is a rendition of what actually happened with everything over the past year and change. I’m so glad you’re still here Sayu! The part that nearly broke me was the “Have you seen our friend?” Poster, knowing after all of it, you couldn’t even tell your fans what was happening, and with all the other stuff going on in you life…
You are so unbelievably strong, Sayu. I don’t think I could have made it through what you did this past year. I’m sorry I haven’t had time to visit your streams, my life’s been hectic, but know I still support you and everything you do. You will always be my favorite Vtuber and streamer. And then less than 2 weeks ago that company throws someone else out in the trash, but this time the whole city comes to their support and wants to burn the company down.
So many conflicting emotions there... Glad to see the company be held responsible for its actions and cruelty... But also sorrow that she didn't get that same outpouring of support when it happened to her... But also some joy and vindication that in the middle of the chaos, a lot of people realized Sayu was right all along and deserved support from the very beginning and are doing what they can to make up for it now...
What a wild ride.
She could be an anime protaganist. This would make a good story.
I wish for Sayu's happiness and success either way.

I haven't been very deep into the Vtubing scene, but seeing your name recently and seeing this video I can tell that this lore video hits a lot of deep notes within. I didn't expect to cry but I'm glad you are still here and you are free to rebuild yourself however you like! So good to hear Sayu has friends that are supportive and I see her popularity and story growing even more in the future!

Out of every Vtubers I know, you are most deserving of an anime series of your own. Its really admirable how you've managed to bounce back frm these experiences.
Honestly I could see something like this working as an actual anime or a comic. Or an episode of Black Mirror. Something like Frankenstein meets the six million dollar man meets a lost puppy story.
The fact that Sayu was a shrine maiden, actually adds to the cyberpunk themes of corporate greed…it’s a really compelling, sad story.
