I'm surprised my RUclips algorithm recommended me this... pleasantly surprised that is! I love your overview of the game, highlighting the positives while still acknowledging the negatives. I am intrigued enough to give this game a try. You have gained a new subscriber!
Yay! Glad the algorithm worked for us today! ❤Thank you so much for checking out the video. I hope you enjoy the game, it can be a lot of fun (even with the stats raising). Which of the LIs are you most interested in?
@@blerdyotome I can't help but fall for the childhood friend trope every time, no matter how cliche it is. I think I'd pick Yuuki for a first playthrough. Although Ryousei's story also seems like an interesting playthrough...
honestly, after i got the hang of the voice recording sessions they became really fun to do lknkjfdkdg especially bc after the first run you don't lose the skills you already unlocked, it can be a lot more enjoyable to go through them, so that's nice. i actually thought you'd look more into the negatives, like the fact that they seriously need to up their translation game (which suffers from the same thing as various other Chinese games that is putting it through MTL and just giving it a quick once over after), or the fact that you can't pick yuki's route first for some reason and the game doesn't really inform you of that until you finish the first run and they tell you that yuki's route has been unlocked. but all in all I think you went over the most important points of the game, and I'm glad to see you enjoyed it in the end. i really liked the story and each of the characters' backgrounds, so I was nervous to open this video and see a negative review, I'm so glad it wasn't the case ;u;
oh!!! this reminds me of an oooooooold facebook game-- I think it was a korean game? it might have been a japanese one though, and you were a girl running an idol talent agency. What I liked tho was that you also had a management sim game within the dating sim, the game eventually died, but i might be able to get that same feeling here!
So there is a Switch version of the game but it isn't available in English just yet 😭Hopefully one day we'll get it too. But, thanks for stopping by! ❤
"Blerdy Otome" is such funny and misleading name in a way since otome is game category for girls, I checked the website and 90% stuff I saw was bl, no gl or m/f, it's odd
Thank you for going through my site, that took some real dedication. However, I do cover GL and there are several game reviews on my site that you can check out (you probably missed them, there is a lot of content on my site). I cover a wide range of games, but I focus on the content that appeals to me on Blerdy Otome, but if there is a game you want me to cover you are free to send it to me via my contact page.
What level is your reading comprehension at? The majority of the most recent reviews and news updates are about otome. And that's just looking at the home page for 30 seconds.
@@couchesandpotatos and do you see what I said? I mainly said how it's odd since otome is game category for GIRLS, games like love and gamesspace, love unholyc, mystic messanger and so on. That's why you don't see people call obey me or whb otome since obey me had gender neutral mc and in whb you can chose the gender.
@@user-odjdjkaka Games are for everyone regardless of how they identify and to specify that someone should be pigeonholed into covering certain games because of how they identify is a failing on your part. You chose to view a video for a boys love game only to complain about some perceived misconception on your part. I don't limit myself on what I can cover and my name reflects that. Blerdy is short for black and nerdy, which covers a whole spectrum of nerdy content. Whereas the otome can literally stand for "otome games" or as the word means "maiden". Perhaps you should educate yourself before you leave another uninformed comment.
The story looks pretty good and it's so cool you can hear their voice recordings! Thanks for this in-depth review~

OOOH! You've got me curious about that FB game!
@@sleepydewdrop It was kind of funny the first time, especially with their little chibi forms lol
Omg plssss come to switch 😭 this is right up my alley
This game looks absolutely beautiful! A little part of me is hoping it will come to Switch or at least to Mac.❤

@@blerdyotome I tried looking though both "GL" and "girls love" search but BL constantly popped up, is there a special tag for it or?
