Thanks to Otherworld Media for creating this enjoyable remake of the Orson Welles classic.
Jason Robards, Doug Edwards and Steve Allen were terrific!
The quotations from the original Orson Welles version helped a great deal.
It's the exact same script word for word.
Truly scary.
🤘🤘 awesome, thanks for posting this
Scott Simon as Carl Philips. Good choice.
A superb production!
I thought I had heard all the good WoTW remakes but this one escaped my attention. This is great listening thanks for posting!
No problem. I thought this 1988 remake was good too. Great work they were.
Ah, just wonderful.
I believe Jason Robards starred in this production shortly after he finished work on the nuclear-holocaust film "The Day After" for ABC-TV.
This came out about five years after the cheerer upper known as "THE DAY AFTER."
@ikecarr5989 the day after was 83 ( I had a tiny part). The 50th anniversary of the Wsr broadcast was 88. Just to be anal. All oldtime Orson Welles fans are precise like that.
My back hurts
Great Video
Amazing
57:11 - Or should I say... "It's-a me, Mario!"
This is, strange. That’s about the best word I can give it. I get the attempt, but I don’t know it falls flat.
Imagine today with AI what could happen!
Mostly Emotionless and clone-like just like pbs programming. 😂
News should be emotionless and clone like Just the facts.
