It was not Tyra’s first on-screen kiss by far. In “Higher Learning” 7+ years earlier, she was frantic and over-the-top dramatic, so I am not surprised. Just not her strength.

Why do ppl think Tyra will be upset? Around the time that show aired Tyra wasn't that experienced in acting and I'm sure she knew the kiss was bad. We all know what a bad kiss looks like and feels like. I think after all these years she finds it funny.

Ever seen a kiss filmed? It's like 2 or 3 cameras positioned several feet away, light reflector perhaps at the feet of the actors, and ten or so people standing in a circle surrounding the actors who are to kiss. And the kiss? Generally no tongue unless instructed, and actors are positioning their heads according to which camera is filming. It's a technical feat that first timers often flub.
