This is a really great video, great technique to help them start turning. I's super impressed and really hoping that we will reach this stage before the end of this season. Thank you very much! Super helpful!
Great video. Thanks. My daughter is 7years old, really great on ski’s and now trying snowboarding with me for the 2nd time. What’s your opinion about teaching both stands already from the beginning instead of a dominant foot forward?
100% recommended what a great opportunity for kids to develop both. I believe one will eventually feel as the more “natural” stance. I am now teaching my second 2.5 yo daughter and have the riglet on both ends so we go on both sides. But I can say for sure I can already see a tendency… I still encourage both. My first daughter whom you see in the video is having a hard time riding switch and we are now working on it… so def something I would encourage
Yes! Fuck stance 100% for any beginner especially kids. Make it even 12/-12 or 15/-15. Btw- dominant foot doesn’t mean anything. My daughter in the video is right handed all right dominant but rides snowboard goofy (right forward). I’m right dominant and ride regular. As I mention in the video- how does she right scooter? The pushing leg will be the back foot. Otherwise try both and soon enough she’ll show preference.

So glad to hear! Just keep at it and you’ll get there. Enjoy it!
Heeeeey, I made a cameo in the background pulling 2 kids! Yeah.
Haha.
Heya! Pulling kids is just as important as the teaching
Great video. Thanks.
