@@JayCord00 yes there is. 100% sure. Try Portal server browser servers vs 2042 quick play servers... already proves Theres SBMM in the normal 2042 lobbies. And a year ago 2042 was MUCH more relaxed, casual than now. Even when it just launched on PS plus.
I cracked my molar and ended up in the ICU for 5 days with Sepsis. Tooth rotted after it cracked and had to be removed. I Had no idea it was cracked for over 2 years. Teeth are no joke. Take care of them or they can literally kill you.

I love BF 2024. Been playing since launch. The game has always been fun with only in battlefield moments but now it has all the creature comforts of a AAA game. I give complete credit to the devs for not giving up after the terrible launch. They listened to the fans and made subsequent seasons more battlefield. Some may hate the specialists but I don’t think they are that bad. Watching SquidG master the squirrel suit makes for some excellent content.
Add season 1 and 2 together after season 7. Then add season 3 and 4 and so on and so on for ppl who are getting into the game later in 2042 life span. I know some of us already have all the cosmetics and rewards but a good will gesture from DICE
A week or so ago, I saw battlepass in the store, and it was like "49 days left". So they already planned to sell it for an additional month, which would make no sense if the season itself was over by that time
In all honesty the 4 extra weeks helps us daily 1-2 hour players since scores seem to have decreased for many things. I used to get 3-5 season points each game, this season I'm lucky to get 2 (aside from completed missions) I'm at 998 so another 122 doesn't seem like much still, when you are tracking 1-2 points per game I wouldn't make it for tier 1 badge by season end without the 40 point boost of weekly missions. (I've made tier 1 every season, weeks before the end and this season I'm struggling) All my double XP in battle pass always coincidentally came up on double XP weekends so I never got to use them they just timed out as there isn't 2x double XP or at least mine never count😂.
I am glad that they extended the season. I managed to do every single weekly mission up until the start of this week and I am still only level 95 for the season badge (level 97 officially due to a 2 level skip a few weeks ago, but that didn't count towards the badge for some reason...). So getting the Tier 1 badge (level 117) would have been impossible for me without the extension. With roughly 15,000 to 20,000 XP per match I would have had to play another 250 matches to get the tier 1 badge just from XP alone. To do that until the end of next week wasn't really in my time budget.
Thank goodness.... I was resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to be able to earn the season 7 badge because I was/am so far away from it with only two weeks to go. And I had earned all the previous seasons 1-6.
Honestly the extension isn't surprising. If you don't play more than a few hours a week and/or haven't completed every mission, especially the bonus missions, then you probably wouldn't have finished the season
I want old battlepasses so bad. Without new content i dont really see a reason to continue playing this game. If i could unlock content i missed i would definitelly continue playing this game
I’m pretty sure they extended the season because the tier one badge tracker did track properly I still have 150 points to get the tier1 badge and it didn’t look like I would get it which is strange because I’ve finished the battle pass and at this point in every other season I already had the badge so I’m glad they figured this out cause I would’ve been upset it I could get that tier 1 as it’s the last season of 2042
I feel like the tracking of every season has been messed up. I bought the "deluxe" pass this season which skipped twenty levels (only because I didn't know if I would have enough time to play to finish the season) but then I discovered those twenty skipped levels didn't count toward the badge so I had to make them up. Grr.
Thanks for the update and video. Sad to see dice still can't get an update or release right and always seems to be broken in some way. And now it just feels like this is a long paid beta test for the next BF. With this new voice chat reporting and recording, wonder how much will be handled by AI and will just be training AI for the future.
The latest 2042 survey (June 7th) asks opinions about another season, and if Ultimate Season Passes are value for money. Since the next Battlefield is delayed by a year, I suspect they've added 4 weeks, and may do a second 'Redux' to find themselves time to give us a Season 8 following that. Whether there's a map or not, I dunno. Maybe a ported BF4 map or just a bunch of weapons. But the survey suggests a Season 8 is on the cards.

The survey asked about cheaters, fair play and player behaviour in-game, as well as a section questioning about seasons, season value and seemed to hint at there being an 8th. I could be massively wrong, but I think they'll do this 4 week extension, then run a Redux for 14 weeks for all previous seasonal events, then give a Season 8 after that. That should tide us over until January next year, with the new Battlefield coming in October/November 2025. An effort to keep players engaged as otherwise we would be waiting for 16/17 months with nothing to do until the next game.
I'm just curios about the next Battlefield with that (Tremendous Life Service) , will they do the same (Like BF2042) and extend each season 6 months with one map per season which they already add it as an option in their last survey and so shame they asked players if they like that , hill no one would like that and they absolutely know that I think we have to hold a bit this time to avoid being fooled once again.
whatever... with each week i see drop in bf population. I couldn't play vs ppl today (full team) for 3 matches in a row. Not in Control or CQ64. Then i've found a full match in CQ128, but it was almost over (thanks Dice for giving us back the option to join matches that almost end!). Time to switch to a different game, perhaps...

Thank you for the update, I spotted the extended weeks earlier, and I do wonder what Dice is playing at - purely as I am not expecting anything to follow this. That to me feels like they have a plan to do something - but what is the bit I cannot fathom out.
I hope that they repeat the early battlepasses. Many players didn't play these yet and it would be much better than nothing. The OGs would complain, though...
@@jimhalpert9421 Good idea, I didnt join until season 4 given the state the beta was in, there was no way I would have bought it. So the first three seasons would offer some stuff to unlock for those who came in at that point.

I actually am so crazy I bought a laptop so I could take the game with me on a month long trip starting next week, and finish the T1 badge within 14 weeks. Which it looks like it will be completed within 2 weeks. Now I have 18 weeks and it looks like I wasted my money on the laptop. Also looks like everyone will have this T1 badge so thanks for nothing EA!
That would be great. Many players joined only around season 4 or 5, after the game was finally worth playing. So to get a chance to play the early missions and get the skins would be nice.

Been playing since day one and I feel cheated as well. Just some lame ass missions. The last event I couldn’t earn any ribbons in any other game mode but the event. Thought they changed that. I’m level S385 and it’s repetitive at this point. Only thing to really do is level up guns and vehicles.
2042 has SBMM and NOBODY talks about it !!!!😖🤦🏻♂️they added it like half a year ago! Suddenly the game was 100x more sweaty. Now, the only normal matches without SBMM are the server browser matches from Portal! That's how relaxed 2042 matches were a year ago. People please talk and complain about this!!! Otherwise the next Battlefield is RUINED already.

I thought they’d extend the season. I’ve done most of the challenges and I’m tier 80, it’s difficult to compete the whole thing without buying tiers
They tripled the xp requirement for each BP in season 6 so it takes much longer now
They need to remove SBMM from 2042 matches !!!🤮 Game is terrible now because of it.

Yep looks like it didn’t track properly. Mine just added 10 points last week even though I completed all the missions.

I would be surprised if they did not re-run the previous seasons battlepasses for cosmetics for new players after the season ends.
