Love to see the variety of approaches and hearing how they stack up. Cheers, Vin!
It's a really cool way for them to showcase their spirit I think
This is good of Glenallachie to give us the same age but different casks rather than what they used to is change the age as well as the cask. Being an avid Oloroso hater I know I'll skip that one but that Amontillado did sound delicious. Nice video Vin, cheers 🥃
Thanks for testing these, Vin.
I leave the sherry matured for others to enjoy. Too much grape influence.

Typically I'm not a sherry guy either. Although thats why I love receiving these sets, as I'd likely never have bought them
Great video and very interesting. I'm looking forward to part 2. I am a big fan of everything Billy Walker has done and I'm a big fan of their core range. I tend not to chase after these special releases, but I would buy minis/samples if I find them.
I'm also looking forward to pt2. Hopefully it'll be on the sweeter side as the dry stuff isn't my preferred style
Cheers for the opinions Vin, bought all 3 for an imminent split so looking forward to popping them!
Nice! You'll have to let me know what you think of them when you get them
That looks like a fantastic tasting set! I would love to buy, just that. Hard to pick, maybe Amontillado? Very cool they are trying different Sherry here. Cheers!
I think the amontillado will definitely be the one that sherry fans will want to try as it's so different to the "normal" releases they do
First talk I've seen about these three, good job. I'm on my way to order the Amontillado version, and there's a good reason ror that, atleast to me. Oloroso is very commonly used sherry, and I had a few Fino ones, but I've never had an Amontillado....so to me, the choice is easy, I have to pick the Amontillado. But it would be nice to try them all, and I'm really curious about what's to come. 🍷cheers
Enjoyed the review Vin. Not sure why, but I've never got round to purchasing any G/A but the Amontillado sounds interesting. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing 🥃🥃
I know what you mean, it took me years to get around to them. If you're into peat, the Meikle Toir range is a great place to start
@@NoNonsenseWhisky Thanks, I'll have a look at that one.

I would like to try the amontillado one because I have the glenscotia and really like it and a friend made me buy the Glasgow 1770 one 😉😂
It's a pretty good one. It's subtle
Excellent 👍🥃
🥃🥃
Cadenhead’s do the best Fino finishes in my opinion, I’d look there first if you get curious to pick up a full bottle and explore it more
Good shout, I'll have a sniff about
