    Remember Sharon for the joyful person that she was in life and not the manner of her death.

      I agree, but it is impossible for me. I am too young to recall Sharon, but I have watched many videos here. She was a breath of fresh air.

    • @nastia1100
      @nastia1100 7 лет назад

      ddivincenzo1 She really was! I feel sorry that I expressed some criticism of her family for continuing the circus of the legal system. Of course that was their right, but it's just sad to drag oneself through that. I just wish people could see her how she is in this video.

    • @ddivincenzo1
      @ddivincenzo1 7 лет назад +4

      I agree. Doris, Patti and Debra have really been quite advocates for victims' rights, but I don't envy their presence at the parole hearings.

    • @nastia1100
      @nastia1100 7 лет назад +5

      ddivincenzo1 Yeah it's clear that her family (including her father though you don't really hear much about him) have suffered a lot. I don't really know how I feel about Roman Polanski though. On the one hand he seems kind of like a jerk. On the other, I'm sure Sharon wouldn't want people attacking him. In any case, I hope that anybody who loved Sharon and the other victims are able to find peace.

    It was a house that Roman and Sharon rented from Patty Duke in the late 1960's.
    It is on Summitridge Drive in Beverly Hills.
    Sharon and Roman were set to buy the house, but Duke suddenly had a change of mind about selling it.
    As a result, Sharon and Roman moved to 10050 Cielo Drive.
    Both houses are in the same area.
    I know because I live near them.

      George Vreeland Hill if I were patty duke I would feel so guilty. If only they could have bought this house. Too sad for words....

      @lindalee5871 5 лет назад +1

      I wonder how Patty Duke has lived with herself over that change of decision...Manson picked Celio Drive because it was where Melcher refused to give him the contract...Melcher since moved out...that house was cursed...

    • @helanesolomon1724
      @helanesolomon1724 5 лет назад

      I think Duke wrote her biography. I'm curious to read it

    • @helanesolomon1724
      @helanesolomon1724 5 лет назад +1

      linda lee I read Patty Duke's autobiography and she says she was going through a divorce and it was her ex husbands decision not to sell the home. I'm relieved in a way because I love patty duke. Her husband name was Harry Falk.

    • @lindashelley3635
      @lindashelley3635 5 лет назад

      linda lee I don’t know why she would feel guilty, the murders were not something that anyone could have predicted. But I’m certain that she (or anybody) would never have wanted to live in the house again after the horrific events of that terrible night. Is the house still standing? There have been similar cases of mass murder here in the UK where the local authorities have torn the house down and just built a pedestrianised pathway through the site, because of the notoriety of the address.

    It's so sweet to see Sharon with her sweet little dog Prudence. We all know the tragedy of Sharon and her baby Paul Richard losing their lives...but...the other tragedy was that little Prudence the puppy lost her Mommy as well on August 8/9 1969. Sharon's mother Doris did have Prudence as her own for about 10 years after Sharon's death. Sadly Prudence was accidentally run over by Debra Tate backing out the driveway. I'm just glad that Prudence had 10 years of love from Sharon's wonderful mother Doris. :-)

    Great video.
    That house is on Summitridge Drive in Beverly Hills and is on the market as of this writing (11/25/2011).
    I live nearby.
    The asking price is $5,900,000.
    The taxes are almost $60,000 a year.
