I'm disappointed that in game 3 the Tengu player did not have Caius banish himself for game, since the chaos player only had 1000 LP left, that would have been 10/10, missed opportunity.
Man Lithium is so hard-working. Just a few hours ago he was in Paris and now he's rushed back to his studio to record these matches just for us. Truly goes above and beyond for his fans!
Chaos was a powerful deck for its time. The trio of pot, graceful, and duo was a game changer. That's why many of those cards are banned and probably never coming off the list.
Chaos Yata has had a fantastic run this year. Making it to losers finals guarantees a 3rd place finish at minimum. Would absolutely love it if they deck could continue pulling off the upsets and run it back against Infernities in the grand finals.
As someone who played Tengu Plants back then, whoever was piloting it was playing BEYOND sub optimally, so many plays they left on the table Set E Con, use to tribute over a fluff token to survive a turn Leviair back Armory Arm Missed timings when they should have Formula'd into BRD
Wow!!! I remember tengu plants winning this matchup last time so i was delighted to see chaos take it, that play to deny black rose was sweet, kudos Lithium👏👏
I wish the Chaos format cardpool was just a little more so that Chaos control wasn’t the only viable deck. Love GOATs, but playing with these power cards is always a blast.
About what I expected out of this matchup. The constant drawing and discarding off of Mirage in Game 1 just shows how stupid that card was. Can't believe Konami thought it was a good idea. That last game was classic Chaos. Going with Adamancipators 3-2 in the next one. Main reasons are more gas in the tank and a slightly better end board than Infernoble. Also has to contend with Block Dragon, which can kind of remove a lot of the advantage that would be gained by handlooping with Charles and smoke grenade.
Looks like if your game plan doesnt veer off from chaos enough chaos kinda just wins. Didnt think a deck would need to be that much more advanced than chaos to win a match 😅
I voted for chaos because it has the highest chance to win against a slow deck like tengu plants, but i also hate chaos, almost all the cards in the deck are sacky one ofs.
I blanked with editing that the scores on top are switched 😑
Thank you for pointing it out! Stay safe!
What ashame
Het is niet "Kieko the Ghost Destroyer" maar "Kai - Koe the Ghost Destroyer"
You have redeemed yourself, Lithium2300. That final CED move was a classic YGO protagonist moment.
pre-errata emperor was such an insane card. i wish they would have left it alone.
That game 2 Mirage was like watching a car crash
P.d. Congrats on your performance at the MD Invitational!

You sure about that rulling? I reckon it's an OCG-only type of thing
@@MarkoAlilomov I have seen it done in the TCG multiple times, I think Lithium even did it in a previous cross-banlist cup.
Never Count Chaos Out Baby!
Looks like the scores are reversed on the top
😂
I knew I wasn't tripping
Like i always say Chaos is the best deck to show why banned cards are banned.
Chaos continues to be the format of kings

Talk about Tengu Plants stealing games
😣😅
Sometimes you're just THAT good at the game.
They won last year as well. They are simply a better deck than plants.
Read this comment before watching the video and was waiting for the comeback the entire time
Game 1 drew 3x tengu’s

I love Chaos
Oof, using Ignition Effect Priority twice to force Black Rose to miss timing was such a big brain play.
All I can say is WOW! That was awesome!
Delighted to see Chaos win again
That game 1 was disgusting holy cow
In Game 3 tengu player could’ve just banished the own Caius to deal the necessary damage without risking mirror force yada yada
never doubt chaos
CHAOS BEST DECK BABY! Woo
LETSSSS GOOOOOO
Yes baby, chaos is alive!!
Congratz on 3rd place in Paris
4th sadly, ty 😄💪
great duels
Chaos siempre contigo, en las buenas y malas.
Always fun to watch Chaos matches :)
Chaos too OP! Let's go!
I AM JUST THINKING ABOUT THE NEXT CUP INCLUDING SPRIGHT, DESPIA AND IZHIZU TEARS
Nice duel
Chaos will never die
Man banned cards are so fun
It's crazy that Chaos was the best deck from 2004 and because of a small handful of insanely broken cards it really wasn't power crept until like 2013
They need to do something about the coin toss for the invitational the dude that beat you went first twice like wth.
In the Interview after the Match he said that lithium won the Coin toss but made him go first. But I agree thats not a good Solution at all
@@hellowhatsup9668 ahh I see idk why Konami doesn’t have a special build of the game specifically for this though

Its funny how it needed to past almost 10 years to get chaos powercrept
why didn't he use black rose eff? wasn't that a must to do?
Game 1 had two weirdass opening hands. BLS and CED meets triple Tengu
so legit
no one is gonna talk about that tengu hand in G1????
I was rooting for chaos but come on.....
2:32 That's not enough to attack for game...
Tgplants let the scientist walk. Big oof
I don’t think crush card was out at the time as chaos yata
This is an ocg list, so yes it was 😄😄
So tengu plant won 3-1?
No it lost
You spelled "Chaos" wrong.
@@abdobeidat5 he was making a joke about the score being reversed at the top, grow a brain

Yes
God I hate chaos.. It doesn't matter.. It will not win it all:)

Why no imperial order at 4:54 to stop mirage
