It still works but on condition that you don't activate Phantom of Yubel's effect, you only use it to link summon. You can see it more clearly in 1 card combo 04:11.
It's easy! Link summon "Saryuja Skull Dread" with 4 materials - so u can use 4th effect - draw 4 cards then place 3 card include "Summoner" to deck. Use 3rd effect - special summon "Rescue" in hand. It's like the case at 12:22
a few times, in that case i have "called by the grave" or good hand. If you cant get all exodia pieces you can passturn with normal endboard Yubel - "Soul Of Rage", "Phantom of Yubel" and maybe "I:P". Survive the opponent's turn. Next turn we can OTK or take the remaining pieces of Exodia.
