In this video I am sharing our one-day trip to Nakkati Hills, For those who don't know, Nakkati Hill is located on the outskirts of the Bongaigaon district of Assam. It is known to be the highest peak in the lower Assam region. Its cut-nose-shape edge is closely compared with the famous Mc Afee Knob of the USA. ⁣
Nakkati Hill is a popular trekking place amongst the locals, however, its beauty is still unseen and unknown to the outside world. The trek to Nakkati Hilltop is a strenuous climb of about 4-5 hours. Although it took us about 3 hours to complete the whole trek as we reached late, we all know there are no shortcuts to any place worth going. So we kept climbing and heaving until, finally we reached the top. As we reached, before we were these spectacular vistas of the surrounding villages, valleys covered with dense forest. We sat down for a while and watched the sun go down, listening to the wind and taking in the stunning view.⁣
