Well I’m sure your dad will be glad to get away from all this horrible wet weather , he’s off to the land of the big roadtrains . Happy New year from a soggy NE Scotland .
Found your channel after watching Jemma Warren. Didn't think that watching a livestock haulier would be so entertaining, but found it to be so and a little informative too. What's the story behind the hat you have on the dash in your truck and the photo on it?
Hi Becky ! 4700 Kg Net Weight ÷ 10 head of Cattle 🐄 = Average ( a.k.a. Mean from my Schooldays back in 1981/1982 G.C.E. "O" Level Statistics Examination Course ) of 470 Kg per head of Cattle 🐄 ! Easy Way to Remember : ÷ 10 MOVE the Decimal Point • ONE place/space to the LEFT . . . 4700•0 Kg ÷ 10 = 470•0 Kg ! Reverse : Multiply by ( × ) 10 move the decimal point • ONE place/space to the RIGHT 470•0 × 10 = 4700 Kg 😉👍 ! My Beloved 💘 ( late ) Maternal Gran(dmother), her occupation day to day was Manageress of the Readicut Wool Shop, Clapham Common, London SW4, & many years ago my Gran said to me, "So long as you have got the basics from school, ( reading, writing & speaking . . . ) English 🏴 Language & Mathematics, Addition, Subtraction, Mutiplication & Division ( Sharing [ this ] is GOOD ! ) then you will do alright in life !"
Thought you might have given us the truck weight, pre and post unload, and then made us work the maths out. Another great video. Quick question: why didn’t you wash out between loads on this video, where you normally do between loads.?
Becky Happy New Year and all the best in the new 2024. Watching you working that rig on those narrow roads wow. I have to think watching you drive as you are sitting what was my blind side we called it and your seating operating side was the good side. Your gearshift is left had and ours is the right hand. It would take me some time to get used to that and driving on the left would freak me out LOL. All the best Can't wait for more of your great runs and travels and chatting to us what you are doing.
Although I no longer live in the area, You go to a lot of farms I know as I used to live in Warwickshire. For example that farm behind Corley Services. I've been up that road many times. One factor when the farmers are being paid per kg. Is there a calculation done to account for the fuel used? I appreciate that even on an artic, it's only likely to be 40-50kg max.
Happy 2024 for you, Liam and everybody at St. Mary's. Loaded weight was 18 tonnes - empty weight of 4,7 tonnes = 13,3 tonnes / 10 = 1,330 kilo per beast on average
hai becky. iam happy to see your videos. i working truck driver in India.i have so much intrest to come uk as truck driving job basis. can you please help me how to get truck driving jobs in uk.
So she can see. No mirror on the windscreen, so relying on door mirrors if using the mirrors. Sometimes it's just better to look directly where you want to go.

Brilliant Becky.
