"The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" by Reba McEntire is an amazing song. Fantastic storytelling that country music is known for! Vicki Lawrence sang it first but Reba did it WAY better!
Can't go wrong with Chris! For more country check out Believe by Brooks and Dunn...you won't be disappointed. For folk, you will be gobsmacked by Man of Constant Sorrow by Home Free.
There's too many country songs and artists for me to name that I can recommend. He Stopped Loving Her Today-George Jones Folsom Prison Blues- Johnny Cash You Ain't Woman Enough- Loretta Lynn Jolene- Dolly Parton The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia- Reba McEntire Two Black Cadillacs (or Before He Cheats)- Carrie Underwood Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under- Shania Twain Country Boys Can Survive- Hank Williams, Jr. All My Ex's- George Strait Coward of the County- Kenny Rogers (You might like The Greatest too since you're getting into MLB) That's My Story- Collin Raye She's in Love With the Boy- Trisha Yearwood She's Not the Cheatin' Kind- Brooks and Dunn Gunpowder and Lead- Miranda Lambert Where I Come From- Alan Jackson Concrete Angel- Martina McBride (tissue warning!) Honestly, the artists I named above I could've named 3-5 songs each, minimum. These were just the ones that immediately popped into my head. Not many misses among them. Also recommend Garth Brooks, but the issue with him is unless you're dealing with a live version or official music video, 90% of "his" stuff on RUclips is other people covering him.
Checkout Christ Stapleton - I was wrong I’m the same as you in terms of exploring new types of music. I believe you will love this song just as much as I do( it’s my favorite song of his ) . The style is more blues rather than country, and his vocals are , like always, jaw dropping.
liked your reaction.. other songs to check: Sometimes I Cry - I Was Wrong - Death Row - Its a Man's World (cover) - Higher - North Dakota - Cold - Either Way - and there are so many more songs out there (past and present) by Chris that you may not have heard (live versions best). He is amazing!
I like it when people expand what they listen to it and discover other things. I definitely gravitate towards classic rock but I listen to rap and hip hop and punk almost as much, of course grunge. I love punk, the blues, the pop and synth from when I was a kid (80’s). I listen to country, especially old stuff, some metal. I like classical music, I just don’t know anything about it.
"I Cannot Escape the Darkness" by Those Poor Bastards It's a dark folk song. I know that folk isn't for everyone so I get it is you don't want to try it. If you want to hear soul and grit then I highly recommend it!
Want modern country/Southern/Western culture..listen and watch Luke Bryan “What makes you Country”, Montgomery Gentry “Where I Come From” would be good choices👍 “Country Boy Can Survive” by Hank Williams Jr…should be included as well.
@@kabirconsiders thank you most your country song reactions have been fairly newer songs I recommend going back to 1950s 60s 70s 80s imho 90s country is as good as it gets.
Can I turn you into something I think you will enjoy with lyrics, songs and more.... First I would suggest BTS Fix you cover by Cold Play Live and go from there you’ll see...
Sometimes I cry & live this is a man's world
Charlie Daniels "the devil when down to Georgia"
His voice is epic. Keep the videos coming mate!
More on the way!

I’ll put it on my list!
@@kabirconsiders Do the version live from Austin City Limits - there's a great guitar solo on that performance that's not in the studio version. ;)
Before his wildly successful solo career he was in the Steel Drivers. Also very good stuff
Welcome to Country Music, A lot of great songs.
Love him. Love listening to you! Keep up the good stuff, Kabir.
Charlie Daniels “devil went down to Georgia”

Live performance at CMA all the other country singers were singing along
When you gonna listen to Chris’s live version of “I Was Wrong” and “Sometimes I Cry”? You will NOT be disappointed 🎼

Based on this reaction, you might have to add Nashville to your USA trip 🤔👍🏻
I think so! 🤠
Your Dad told me to request more Jimi !!!
I am so glad that you are reacting to this. I’m just hoping the power doesn’t go out again due to a crazy storm here in Florida.
Damn, stay safe ❤️
@@kabirconsiders Will do, thanks :)
I'm in Florida as well and it's been bad weather all day
My home state
Ol Red Blake Shelton
You’re welcome.
His wife sings background 4 him too lololol
Really? That’s cute, a little team!
He use to do jingles. He had written for a lot of songs for other stars. He wife was the 1 pushing him to sing his own songs. Crazy
Clearly he did something. I want to know what he did.
Probably cheated 😂
It's left up to your imagination. What would piss you off so much to do those things?
Mine = I forgot our anniversary. Wife thrown out all my tools.
Brantley Gilbert- "Worse country music song ever written" it's hilarious.
Check out the song David by Cody Jinks. Intense song.
Kabir, listen to Gods Country by Blake Shelton. Class!
He already did. He loved it!
Want modern country/Southern/Western culture..listen and watch Luke Bryan “What makes you Country”, Montgomery Gentry “Where I Come From” would be good choices👍
“Country Boy Can Survive” by Hank Williams Jr…should be included as well.
Thanks for the suggestions Ivan, I’ve definitely be looking for some modern stuff!
Check out Brad paisley!!!
Hi Kabir, Not sure if anyone has recommended the Rock group Incubus? Based on you're other music reactions I think you'll like them.🙂
I’ll put a few of their tracks on my list!
But I really really think you should do Charlie Daniels when the devil went to Georgia. Talk about some awesome fiddling playing
I’m really worried about his dog. No news.
Please react to country music star GEORGE STRAIT
I’ll put him on my list!

I kind of think he sounds like Travis tritt, he's a famous country music singer
I heard that only chavs like drum and bass lol
I might be a little bit chavy 😂
Can I turn you into something I think you will enjoy with lyrics, songs and more.... First I would suggest BTS Fix you cover by Cold Play Live and go from there you’ll see...
I’ll check it out!
I wouldn't say rodeo by Garth Brooks I think the thunder rolls song by Garth Brooks is better than rodeo.
No. Do not sing along. Begging you.
