Asunojokei's vocalist is Daiki Nuno, also agree, definitely my favourite blackgaze record of 2022, found them earlier on when I was looking for Japanese black metal and stumbled upon their debut album, they were still experimenting with their sound then with influences drawn from black metal of course but also math rock, screamo, and a bunch of different styles which clashed a lot but here it seems they've successfully meld all their different styles into one cohesive sound and god it just sounds amazing
My favorite album of 2022. I play at least one track evey other day or every day. Such an amazing album. Highly recommended. Their 2nd EP is worth picking up as well.
When I look at this song and when it talks about a 'chimera of happiness and disaster' i look at it as if the writer is talking about trains themselves as some of the lyrics are clearly about trains. My reason being that inside of trains lots of happy memories and such are made by people, but trains were also used for horrific purposes throughout history, be it accidents, people jumping infront of them or even through WW2. After this song whenever I get on a train I always think about this

They just wrapped up a Euro tour. A North American tour is not out of the question.
