fr i just got back playing in december i stopped in chapter 2 season 5 and i thought every chapter was 8-10 seasons but then i looked it up and was kinda bummed out

There is no reason why 1 chapter should last 1 year.
The main factor that defines the duration of a (mayor) season is the battle pass pricing point, battle pass content, and time frame to allow players to find enough time to earn XP.
Only as of chapter 5 Epic decided to make that into about 3 months each; for chapter 3 and 5 they still had 2 3-month-seasons and 2 2-month-seasons. And before that for chapter 1 and 2... well you get the point. Epic seems to have settled on what is the users' sweet spot is for the length of a season but that doesn't mean they couldn't come up with longer themes and arches spanning more chapters.
... but it seems like they instead go for shorter chapters...

@T@Themanimtheskyit’s not, both of them are comic books characters before rivals was a thing, and when you compare the logo from the Magik and Luna snow promo to the doom2099 promo the logos are different, one is just “marvel” the other was “marvel rivals”
Plus this is actually a relevant distinction, Fortnite wants to add 100+ gaming legends this year so they can be tied into the epic games store. This collab isn't with Rivals and the skins can't be obtained from the epic games store so it's incorrect to mention them in this context

what if fortnite did a gaming legends season we have a lot of video games charaters leaked (minecraft sonic the hedghoge ect) and Fortjite said over 100 what would be better for them to get 25-30 skins out of the way with a full summer gaming legends season placed to mnake money becuase theres not school just a thought though.

I do like the new battle pass for this season, but there are still items locked behind completing the pass before you can claim them. It would be nice if they just let us claim any items we wanted first and then the other stuff later. This would also be a good way for them to see if people like certain cosmetics over others. The items that had the lowest claim rate would be a signal to them not to waste their efforts on them. I personally don't use any of the sprays or emojis. I'm sure there are other items that others don't ever use.

Well, I've wanted a Kingdom Hearts, Persona, South Park, and more NHL/Hockey stuff, kinda got some hockey stuff, South Park is in the game now, and with Kingdom Hearts coming soon, Persona might not be far behind. Persona 4 Revival is coming this year, so maybe Epic and Atlus may come together
