12:14 protection doesn’t defend against destroy board wipes, only damage based ones.

Yes, you totally right. I was originally planning on talking about cards like Magmaquake and Pyrohemia but decided not to while I was recording and got tripped up while thinking of those. Thanks for watching and for your comment. :)

I cannot deny she's an awesome boros equipment commander, but I personally think she's the Commander Kor Tribal needed. You can still run a ton of the equipment packages alongside Kor as they like equipment. It's definitely not as high powered as Kor don't have a large card pool, but it makes for a fun deck that can still pop off.
Thanks for giving me some ideas for cards to include in my own take on Akiri!

Idk if you included it in the final list but I honestly don't mind kher keep in this deck, make a dumb 0/1 on a couple turns to equip in swing if there is a creature board wipe and you have no creatures in hand isnt that bad honestly

Oooh I do love me some Kher Keep. I run it in some other decks. Great suggestion! Thanks.

Sword of X & Y are just all so damn expensive it bugs me.
I think I'll be running Worldslayer in my Akiri deck just for the fun of it, and there's so, SO many ways you can build this into something fun. How powerful it'll be time will tell, but so far it seems like Akiri is the top pick of the set.

Yeah, I am lucky to have a few straight from packs from playing back in the day. They're a big ol pain to buy nowadays. You're totally right, there are a TON of fun ways to build Akiri. I may or may not keep this version of the deck. I agree that she will probably be one of the most played from the set.

@@CommandValley i got myself Sword of War and Peace for €7 in a card trade and it's probably the only one I get until I sell off some of the cards I never use. I'll definitely be looking to your deck when I get stuck building my own!
