I live in a suburban neighborhood, and I have a small vegetable garden in containers on my patio. I wish more pollinators would visit, especially my tomato plants, because those plants have an aphid problem. I've noticed that there are fewer pollinators in my area than there were twenty years ago. I may take your advice next year and sow plants that will attract them. I didn't know that flies were pollinators. I would love to have butterflies around, they're beautiful. I would stay out of the way of the bees, as I'm allergic. I really could do without wasps and flies. Thank you for identifying pollinators for us!
