I drove one of these for years when I cleaned windows for a living and I honestly loved it, I would get one myself as a secondary more fuel efficient vehicle since my daily is a crown Vic but they're just so expensive even the older 2012 models
Thanks for the video. I really don't care about the features, but glad you reviewed them. For me, I just want a dependable van to get from point A to B for service. Looks like a good choice for that. I love the fact that it's only 6 feet tall. I have to park in allot of garages downtown, and that is a definite plus!
They drive like a normal car too. I regularly go fishing and haul my kayak all over. I really like them.. have done multiple trips from Florida to NY, also Florida to New Orleans.
Nicely done. Detailed explanations and walkthrough of critical points such as backdoor openings, engine stats, interior space, combined with quick overview of exterior, plastic components, etc. In particular, I appreciated your take on road noise, engine pickup, seat comfort, and dash accessibility. Also, good editing choice to keep in the bit where the camera falls down: that's a +1 to the video in my opinion :)
These are still too pricey. For basically being a hollow box with almost zero interior they should be much cheaper. Now with the pandemic cutting supplies, the pricing is even more insane. Local used car lots are selling these with 100k miles for as much as a new one would cost.
I see these work vans being sold here with 150k miles on them for 15k plus. Those are usually not freeway miles. So they seem to run up to that point and still have good sales value.
This kid makes people NOT want to buy this car from start to finish he said more bad things about it then good lol. I have the 2021 Connect and love the little van for what it is. But up grading to a FULLY loaded Ram Promaster 1500 118wb with the 10" display :) Cant wait
My guess is that this 'reviewer' is a 'glass-half-empty' kind of person. Gee Wiz, I was excited about the vehicle at first but now with all of dissing of it, I'm having second thoughts. "Ford, fired this dude." lol One part I did appreciate is knowing the level of road noise when driving. Thank you for that. Oh yeah, Ford don't fire him just give him better descriptive wording. He he.
Definitely not a "glass-half empty" guy. I just care that people know what a car is really like before they go and buy one. Appreciate the feedback. Ford's coming out with new ones, and with the recent changes they've done to vehicles, I'm sure it will be great.
You're about 9 inches short for length sadly. I didn't take a tape measure to it, but according to Ford, the max length without folding the front seats is 87.6 inches in the long wheel base model.
@@GaudinX --Thanks. I saw on another site that the dimensions are 49.8"h, 48.7w, and 87.6 long. Using Pythagorean Theorem a2 +b2= c2, it should be possible to carry a few sheets. Corner to corner, there should be 100 inches. Probably best to have a track or other jig to stabilize it. Wonder if anyone's tried it?
My daughter does that. Drives me crazy. It's ok though. I always know what she's talking about, because the rest is in English. I'm sure I annoy her to.
I sort of like it that way. It's not like there aren't enough videos on the subject. If you don't like it, there are a bunch more. You know what they say. Can't please all the people all the time.
I turned mine into a camper van and traveled the country. It worked great. It comfortable to do drive and I get about 26 mpg.
Think it would be good for uber or Lyft?
Oh ya alot of tips
@@ianfrost4097Why a lot of tips? You would get paid the same rate as someone who uses a Corolla, but have far worse gas mileage and more wear
My old boss has one and now i want one. Perfect for low voltage work. Fits in all parking structures too
I got mine from my late step mom. Can't complain, it is extremely utilitarian. You will feel the wind it and you dont want to fight bad weather.

Don’t put any weight in it. It will blow the transmission.
Cruise control?

Those are great for living in.
Just make a small bed frame and get a 12 volt DC refrigerator.
Right this is the van I'm looking to buy to make it into a living space paying rent in this country it's a rip off
Fold flat passenger seat? Would love to see someone demo that feature.

yes, prices way too high
I inquired about purchasing a new one today and there's a 6-month waiting list at least where I'm at
@@miamiwax5504 they aren’t lying, I ordered one in September and it just shipped with a delivery date of Mid April.
Yup ! Even higher mileage 180k plus easily selling for 10k plus 🤦🏾♂️
Panned this vehicle that is so desired for a van conversion by many.
Good job my man. Well presented! I Have the 6 pax and I love it.
Nice job! Now for some stellar Sprinter reviews!
YOU’RE A STUD!!
A Doug Demuro wanna be with his cadence. He talks just like Doug.
Great review Aiden thanks for posting!
I’m happy it comes with meers
Great review
Doug: Sorry I never reviewed the Ford Transit on my channel yet
This guy: hold my beer
Thanks Great Video Presentation
Can you add a third seat to it? Looking for a cargo van that can carry a crew of 3.
Really wish they would come out with a high top version🤩
I fit 2 motorcycles in mine
I want to convert one to a camper that can tow my motorcycle. Something I can stand inside of, and fit in a normal parking space, would be ideal.

How much pallets can I fit back there
Love this van
Van-tastic! Thanks for the love!
I know its been over a year but where did you get that awesome sweater?
should od stated inches in back area length and width
@ 8:01 lol 😂
This thing is so cheaply made, it should cost about $18,000 brand new. The price gouging on it by Ford is outrageous.
Seriously lol but they know people are gonna buy these for commercial use
Mechanical wise? How is it?
I don't see many of these cars going into service, and when driving it felt okay, as in there was nothing alarming about the experience of it.
Where can I buy one
Ties downs look good for having fun with your gf

Ha ha thought same like best van ever
My dad has a company van like that
How many miles does it have and how does he like it?
talk about the car. space, size, transmission, efficiency, drivetrain, steering. i need this to haul tools around. i dont care about the semantics
My 2022 transit connect never gets over 17 mpg city/Hwy combine
It only have 25k miles
And I don't think this is a very economic vehicle.
the front wheel drive is just terrible in snow
More capacity than f150? Not my f150. Do you wanna bet? Meet me at the Granite shop I need to pick up four slabs. Nice van though.
