This is interesting. I have two questions. 1) How does this relate to evolution? Is evolution just a process of adding neurons? Is adapting to environments just a process of gaining more neurons?
2) As a trauma therapist, I use the concepts of lizard, mammal and human brains as metaphors to help clients understand how parts of their brain work together and change with trauma. I'm clear it's metaphorical but since they're just trying to rewire their brains so they aren't scared all the time, they aren't interested in technicalities. Do you have better metaphors or another simple way to explain it to people client healing from trauma? Thank you!
Obrigado, por mais um vídeo!!
I just found out that you exist, and I am so happy! Keep creating new paradigms.
oh my god how do you not have more subs?
I love your sass and your production values "on top" (hah) of your expertise

Bom dia professora...
Very nice! My neuroanatomy professor (Gerhard Roth) in the 80ies told us, too. He liked to make fun of the concept and others like the "encephalisation index".
interesting, first came across this tribune brain model in Lisa Feldman's book. liking the short and informative content you're producing, keep it up :)
So glad to come across your own RUclips Channel. I am in just love with your writings, books & your researches on cognitive Evolution of man🌹
